Not just excellent actors, the overall including costumes, make up story etc are excellent. I don't watch any series or movies much, may be 1 movie a year, i watch every season and episode, but after ragnar died, i kind of lost it, it was good in a way because i sometime watched until the morning and only 3 hours of sleep and off to work. I am glad i picked it up again,
Travis was brilliant as Ragnar and I was so sorry when he was killed off but I must admit Alex as Ivor the Boneless is brilliant in the part and keeps me watching the show. I thought it would fall apart after the fascinating character of Ragnar left the show. Alex acts everyone else off the screen with his expressive blue eyes.
Paul Hopkins don't worry I won't be shocked ^^ before the series existed I knew the Saga of Ragnar Lodbrok the series has more ... well imagination to it. But I knew that he is going to die one day, in a snake pit. Sad but well... I am really excited about his sons since the saga tells that his sons were even more successful than him. And Rollo is even a real Person from history. Well atheist archeologist say that he might have been real :) northern legends, myths and culture are awesome. That's why I was so hyped for this series
