Norwegian Disaster Movies

A look at Norwegian disaster movies, which has become a thing in the past decade. The Wave is the best of the three and looks at the devastation of a freak tidal wave. The Quake looks at earthquakes and is the weakest of the three due to the demands of being a sequel to The Quake and a limited budget. The Burning Sea is an enjoyable return to form, taking place with different characters and on the North sea on oil rigs as disasters mount. These put Hollywood disaster films to shame.

I have only seen the Wave which was enjoyable. Disaster films are hard to do well but I thought the wave achieved it well. Good stuff. Strange veins we inject.

they are all worth a watch but wave is the best.
