Real Life and Defending Your Life

Real Life and Defending Your Life are two Albert Brooks films. Real Life is from the late 70's and looks at what shall become reality TV while Defending Your Life is from the 1990's and looks at the afterlife as a metaphor for struggles to grow within life. Both are terrific films from different times in Brooks' career.

I've seen all his films except Real Life which I hope to see soon. Lost in America has always been my favourite but Defending your Life is very good 👍

Lost In America is one of the films I haven't seen. I plan to go through the others at some point. These I watched within a day of each other before realising both had life in the title.

Always liked Defending your Life but have never actually bought it. Incredible! Don't think I have a Meryl Streep film in my collection , which is bizarre. Good stuff sir.
