I fucking love both Kiske and Deris!!! Kiske has one of the best godly voice and obviously the better pick for Helloween anytime any day. But on the other hand, Deris reaps fucking power in Helloween’s music! He nailed it!! His voice has that scary ambience on Helloween’s presence. Why the hate though? Everyone has their style. Some fit, some don’t.
I wish Kiske fanboys would stop coming onto EVERY video that has Andi singing one of the bands classic songs and going "Hurrr durrr bring backz Michaelz!" Andi has been their lead singer for over twenty years and has proven himself time and time again and he absolutely owns this song I like both but Kiske fantards need to up the fuck shut already

Fernando Tapia don't know about you, but deris can't hit the high notes like kiske does, I like deris, but only on songs that were wrote form him, he doens't have the power of kiske's voice, but his voice is much more dark e heavy, wich is good for his songs

Yes. Kiske would sing much better even nowadays. Just compare them singing I WANT OUT. Kiske is 45 years old now and still kicks ass singing that song. :)
Its done really well, but kiske does the chorus so much better. Still he is a worthy replacement and if kiske was still in the band they wouldn't be around anymore XD.
Kiske may be a better singer in technique, voice potency and in high tones, but I prefer Deris's way of singing and I like his voice better too. For some reason I prefer KOTS with Deris, but Helloween, Eagle Fly Free, I Want Out, Dr. Stein... with Kiske.

To be honest, aside from Keeper 1 with Kiske, Andi Deris has more great Halloween albums under his belt.

That's kinda what I like about Andi. While I admit Kiske has the better vocal range, Deris has more showmanship to him.
