That's what happens when you hire a new singer with a diffrent register than your original. Andi is an Amazing singer and he's killer at singing his stuff live. For the Micheal stuff, I kind of wish he would just sing those songs in his own style but really he just wants to try to be as faithful to the Micheal era as possible and you can't fault him for the commitment.
I've heard Deris cover Kiske work and normally he does a damn fine job. But this song was not written for his range. This song has so many high notes and Deris's voice is too raspy to even reach them. It seems more like amutuer karaoke.

this ver is quitely good. THe tone is lower compare to the original version. Not too high for him. And if you watch some show before 2000, you'll see Deris can hit high note (push, for example). But not now, it's past :(
