    Venue: Metropolis
After the show was over, Cyndi surprised the audience by coming back on stage and singing I'M GONNA BE STRONG acapella. Absolutely amazing!!!
This is a song she performs VERY rarely ... who knows why we got it tonight, but I am THRILLED!!!
The first few seconds missed as we thought the show was over, we weren't ready.

This shows the power of her voice and vocals. To sing this acapella. Amazing. I have loved her since the 80's. She is so incredible.

Few would even try this song much less do it without music. She and I are the same age and it's amazing she could do this at 60.

I'm so glad you posted this. It was an amazing show, and I'm sorry that she had to deal with idiots who, in my opinion, weren't real fans... I think this song (including the manner in which she walked out afterwards) was representative of the frustration she was feeling. I'm so glad she did this one for those of us who loved every song, but also every spoken word! Having met her before the show, I love this reminder of exactly what she looked like on this night. Thank you soooooooo much!!!

Real artist. Sounds just like the day she recorded it. Don't you hate when so called artist Sounds nothing like their recording? It be sad and disappointing because they seem to let others talk them into trying to record sounding like other artist but Cyndi Lauper knew something they didn't. If you only give people your sound then your fans would be the easiest fans to keep because you would have that sound they fell in love with even in your sleep. Love her.

This Woman is out there, still doing her thing...she could have modulated, but she didn'T!!!! It's like an individual athlete who continues playing past his/her prime. They might know it, fans might know it, but you still are SOOOOO gratified you saw them, heard them, got to watch them play!!!!

    • @noreexic

Well obviously she is out of her prime, but this song isnt out of her vocal range on a good day, she sounded a bit croaky during some of this tour, when in good shape tho she belted passed an A5 well

that slight crack in the voice gives the song more depth and maturity, deepens and intesifies the story it tells, much more interesting than a young voice
