I am getting my rear main seal replaced and I was quoted $1,500. I went with it because my car is a 2018 Acura TLX and I plan on keeping it for at least another 9 years or so.
@@HonestMechanicChannel I am of a different view. I think that may help with the symptoms, like a bandaid would for a major wound but not address the root cause of the symptoms.

Scotty says AT-205 Re-Seal works wonders - going to try that in my car first.
Before replacement, try Rislone rear main seal leak repair. Helped me😊

Average is 600? Where ? Most shops have quoted me 1,500-2,000 in labor
Toyota dealership quoted me $3,100 for this today
Wouldn’t be the first time the inflated their “golden touch” repairs
