We were there February 21. The beach restaurants were great. The beach was pretty empty during the week days but got pretty crowded on the weekends. Looking forward to revisiting in the future.
Excellent description and video, we found this beach today and love how simple and quiet it is, Hotel Acacia looked wonderful, would stay there next time.
Instead of bungalows, maybe leave it as green space. I am sure someone will eventually come along and develop it but right now it's nice that the town is very tranquil. Nothing personal but I don't know why most of us humans look at something and desire to improve it or shape it into something we can use. I imagine it's already home to many creatures. :) Stunning egret in the canal. Thanks for giving a good overview of the town. Was this during the off-season? So quiet, which I love.
There's nothing wrong with development if done properly, we took a dry field and turned it into a paradise for us and our renters. Not there are lizards and frogs and herons
That was one of our favorite beach areas when we visited. Could totally see myself living there.

Yes a lot of locals from Liberia head to Hermosa for the weekend!
Also we ate at Aquaport, nice and good ceviche, lounge chairs with nice music but pricey..

because it was August and its a small beach town
