  • When it comes to various Rail Sims one area of the US is often overlooked. Whether it's routes or equipment from the various roads the dotted the nation the Midwest is often ignored when it comes to these Rail Sims. One such road that is often forgotten is the St. Louis - San Francisco Railroad. Better known as the Frisco the road itself it a bit of an interesting story. However one of it's more interesting stories was not of the road but one of their steam locomotives. The Frisco's 1500 Class Mountains were an icon of the network, but were made even more iconic that's to a dedicated group of Volunteers in the City of St. Louis.
Developed by Machine Rails the "Frisco T-54 Mountains & 1522 Entourage" Pack is a re-creation of those Iconic Mountains as well as the Burly Baldwin that was restored back to operation by the St. Louis Steam Train Association in May of 1988. Did the team manage to capture the old glory of the Frisco? Is there anything that the team could have done better? Those are the questions we try to answer in this Trackside Review.

The route is the Mississippi River Valley which was originally available on Railworks America. However I'm not sure if it's still available as of right now I have to double check.
