    The mid travel and bypass rack on my truck was night and day. Not event the same truck! It’s good to see real world testing, Keep these great videos coming.

    I know you guys are a raptor shop, but would be great to see how the TRX does on same track. I had a Gen2 with Kings and bumps. It ran great on a Baja run. Loved the truck, but I really really love this TRX. Would be awesome to see you run one. Thanks

    Appreciate the videos! I’m a local raptor owner, and have driven that road. Wondering if I need to stay off that road to avoid a collision with someone going 100mph+ or if you guys have people stagger at the other end that let you know when the road is all clear of other drivers?

    What tire pressure were you running this time around?

    For the Gen 2 did you have Deavers and bump stops in the rear? Or just the Kings? I’d be curious to take my Gen 2 there. I’m running King 3.0’s all around, SVC upper control arms, SVC bump stop kit, Deaver HD + 3 (got a carrier with two spares and a jack),
    Goosetuned E50 tune. The Shocks were tuned by King in Barstow two months ago. I know it’s hard to see in video how big the whoops are…but I’m sure my truck runs through them way better.

      I have no doubt your truck works pretty good, but to be honest with you, no stock travel raptor goes through that whoop section good. They bumps are to big and to separated. We've had mid travel/bypass racks truck struggle in that section depending on the time of year. It's way bigger than it looks.

      @@jarrettvalenti3978 You are probably right. It's always hard to tell how big the whoops are in the video. I was just curious if the bump stops and Deavers would make much of a difference through that section. It looked like the truck was really getting thrown around. How about 3.5 Kings with your bypass rack? I've been thinking about that upgrade since I do struggle in the bigger whoops.

    • @jarrettvalenti3978
      @jarrettvalenti3978 9 месяцев назад +2

      The 3.5's bypass rack with two tires and jack in the rear to balance the weight would help a bunch. The added bump travel from the bypass rack setup will keep the ass settled down more and allow the front to not dive into the next whoop. If you're committed to going through big bumps like that, then you will needs lots of valving up front to keep the front popping up and the back to be more balanced than any stock travel raptor has regardless of shock. So yes, a rear 3.5 tuned correctly with good bed weight will help you get the truck more comfortable and controlled in average size whoops.

      @@jarrettvalenti3978 Really appreciate all the great information! When king tuned my shocks, and I told them I might be going with 3.5's w/ a bypass rack in the near future, they said the same thing about valving the fronts if I'm keeping the King 3.0 setup in the front. I got some additional questions about running the 3.5's w/ the bypass rack. I'll give you guys a call. Awesome customer service as always from SVC!
