Great review! I have just bought (2 weeks ago) some Rubikore 6s. Wow! They were amazing immediately..... but after 50-60 hours of running in they are totally incredible!
For sure even the 2s are amazing..... but the 6s are another level. Listen to Anouar Brahem on ECM's 'Madar' and Cassandra Wilson's 'Redbone' on Blue Note's 'Blue Light Till Dawn' album.
Rubikore 2 is fantastic!!! I have the Dali Epicon 2, its a great speaker. I have owned them for 8 years now. I have been wondering if I should step up to the Epikore 3. The Epikore series is fantastic!!!
Great review. I ordered a pair of these today. I had the Rubicon 2 before (before my previous LS50 Meta) so I hope that these Rubikores are even better. I also hope that my A1 (2023) will be enough to drive them.
@@SalvadorZerker Can't compare directly.since Its 4-5 years since I had the Rubicons. I hope that the Rubikores have less energy in the 4KHz region as this was a bit problematic with the Rubicons. The measurements in Mads review would indicate that the frequency response is a bit better with the Rubicore 2s.
Those measurements are very smoothed. Erin's Audio Corner measured a bigger Rubikore speaker on the Klippel; Dali has a house sound so it's likely that the bookshelf will be somewhat similar to those
@ You’re right, the measurements are smoothed, and that’s intentional. I don’t focus too much on small dips or peaks because they can often be distractions from the bigger picture. As Dr. Siegfried Linkwitz once said, vision and hearing are two different senses, what you see in measurements isn’t always exactly what you’re hearing. I use basic measurements to quickly compare speakers after listening tests, just to see if what I perceive aligns with the data. Ultimately, my goal is to focus on the listening experience, not getting too caught up in every little fluctuation in the graph.
I heard the 7 models I think .. on NAD M23 pair. It was really nice. I wish I had more time at the show for them. Hopefully more listen time in the future.
@@MadAudiofficial - No .. I am in Toronto Canada. We have Lenbrook here.. who distributes for NAD .. and Dali, Bluesound, PSB, MQA.. etc. I visited the Toronto Audiofest .. have many videos about it.. and that's where I heard the system.
Very nice review, thank you! I've heard Rubikore 2s at Zagreb "TooLoud" Audio Festival, connected to a Musical Fidelity A1 amp. I liked that combination very much, especially the fulness of presentation, having in mind that the listening room was 100+ m2. I am very sensitive to "over-cooked" treble, but nothing was bothering me with that combination, so I was wondering what exactly you thought was wrong with it? Thanks!
@@vladimirjovanovic2803 Thanks for sharing your feedback! I felt the need for a warmer mid-bass and a more rolled-off top end, but as you mentioned, audio is highly subjective. It’s always best to test the setup at home to find what works best for you!
@@Gadgetdad007 Not at the moment, as I have other priorities given my limited budget. I’m very satisfied with the S400 MKII, but I’ll definitely be interested in checking out the E50 in the future.

I appreciate the added details such as the "old camera effect", however, to me the sound is disturbing. Consider changing that for the next video :)

Probably the sound of an old reel projector in the background at the same time as the old camera effect scenes.
