When you told them you vegan, how did they react? i am vegan as well and i'm curious about it, is it rude for them if i reject food because of my diet?
Sending you both much love and well wishes. I hope you win your next competition since you sacrificed eating the food. Pace yourself please, when it comes to showing your in-laws. Too much exposure will ruin the relationship.
I'm so happy to see you so happy ^^ This video made me excited bc I'm visiting my boyfriend's family in Korea this winter. His grandma also wants to teach me some Korean cooking.
Exactly, her skin is glowing and flawless And because she curled her eyelashes up and seems to have naturally reddish lips i actually thought was wearing make up at first
At 4:31, when you were still vlogging and your husband noticed your absence and turned around.. little gesture full of love ❤️ beautiful and entertaining video as always!
I love that. Hearing music that I love when traveling makes me so happy. When I was abroad I heard Juanes playing in a restaurant..😀 I was like I love this country! I enjoyed my visit so much.
I would love to see a video of your in-laws trying soul food or some type of American food they haven't tried before and getting their reactions. You are very blessed to have married into such a wonderful family and they are equally as blessed to have you.
I love how your in laws seem so loving to you and your sister in law! It’s great to see more and more of the older generations be more accepting to changes in society
Oh my heart! What a sweet family you married into girl! I love that you all helped with the cooking. Moon's mom is so cute with her sassy hair cut, and then feeding him a rice cake lol! Such a sweet video! 😊
I love how Koreans still eat food from the mountains. We do the same in our family, we forage for wild plants a lot. I think it's such an interesting addition to the diet. I'm always fascinated by Korean plants that I've never even heard of. For instance, I know that Koreans forge for fern shoots but that is totally foreign to a westerner like me. I mean....we DO have fern in our forests, but we don't eat it. And I'm sure there are so many more vegetables that Koreans use that I don't know about. Like mugwort. I still don't understand what that even is lol (also water chestnuts, lotus roots and so on) Maybe a video idea: introducing edible plants that Koreans like to eat and making recipes with them, maybe even foraging for them in the mountains (if you're up for a hiking trip). Love you, Megan!
Made in Busan I can tell you some of the plants we eat , Angelica tree or in Korean “ dureup” , waterdropwart in Korean “minari” , perilla leaves in Korean “ ggaenip” and so much more
Actually, ferns are eaten and even sold in some stores. I remember seeing a heap of fiddleheads in a store in NH many years ago. In Korea, mostly it's the fiddleneck (not the head part) they eat. One of the edible kind is bracken fern.
Your family is so lovely. It's good that you have family in Korea now. You have been on your own so long that having that support must be nice. Your mom is so cute and feeds her family so well!☺
Megan, does Moon speak/know any English? We have only heard him speak Korean, but you speak in English around him in your videos. Does he understand you? Can we get a video of him speaking English? Or you teaching him English? Love you!
I love how in Asia, the Asian culture is strong and the traditions are still observed with most generations. Makes me wish it can be like that in the black communities where the African culture & traditions can be more dominate.
In most african migrants their culture and traditions are kept in practise..i think it depends on how strong their traditions were and how long ago they left their home country. I live in Australia and since i left my country in east africa was 30 years ago, we still speak out native language at home, cook our native food, wear our native clothes and mingle with folks from our community mostly, we take care of our aging parents n grandparents. We have our own food grocery stores clothing hair beauty stores etc..community centre for youth, etc and finally during pandemic took my little boys back home to my country to escape the mandate nonsense 😩 we need to preserve our culture and traditions for our children so they dont lose their way n they proud who they are✊🏽 🇸🇴🌍🇰🇪🇪🇹🇩🇯🇦🇪💙
So glad you have family in Korea! Always felt sad that you were always on your own. I know you had friends and acquitances but just not the same. Be happy Megan - your family seems great :-).
Moon's family, you're family, is soooo cute and cool. The food looked delicious now i'm hunrry lol Love you so much Megan, Kisses from Spain (loving the music at the gym, no me imaginaba musica en español en un gimnasio coreano lol)
I remember watching her years ago and her life has changed so much its crazy! She taught me so much about Korea, and because of her I learned so much and was hyped to study abroad in Korea! :) I just wanna say thank you to her for being so awesome to teach us all about Korea for so many years! -- and wow her abs though...... girl what is your secret

Awwwwwww! I love them!!! Moon’s family seems so sweet. And why are they all so good looking? Must be some good genetics going on in that family. Not only did you snag a good hubby, you hit the family jackpot, too! ❤️😍❤️😍❤️
Megan, maybe a stupid question but since you are married now, do you take on your husband's name like in American or are you just added to the family registry or how does that work? Thanks for sharing with us!
DESPACIIIITO! Lol I got hype... Megan I'm so happy for you and moon , been following you for a few years now and it's just nice to see your progress in life ❤❤
The food looks so good! My korean family (in laws) kinda stopped doing the food ceremony 제사. We just meet up, sleep over at mother in law's house for a few days, and go to the mountain to bow to my father in law's grave. Good times.❤
This is so bloody cute. I am grinning from ear to ear. Love how Moon is saying no to his mum when she is offering the rice cake but ends up eating it anyways.
Watching your Korean family was so heart-warming! You have no idea how happy I am for you Megan, they're so wonderful and I'm excited that they're open to being in more vlogs! 💓
I think that’s sweet they’re ok with being In videos; but the sweetest thing is that moon’s mom was feeding him. The fact that Koreans care for their loved ones like that is so sweet. Thanks for sharing this and good luck on your competition! You got it girl! ✌🏻💕

This is fantastic. Though it is not the norm, I appreciate your new family being someone to share their lives and culture with you/us/me/foreigners. It's refreshing. I feel as if I am being drawn into a new family via you, especially after following you for such a long time. Thanks for sharing your family and thank you to them for being willing to share.

Moon: “i don’t want it why do you keep putting it in my face” 😡
Still Moon: *proceeds to eat it*
LOL no matter how grown you are, a Korean mom will always do this.
lmao. i laughed so hard at that scene cos that is what every asian mom does to you.
sigh.. my mom does that too...😑
Lol, that is true true. My Vietnamese god mother is the same way😂.
For real though, we gonna need a "Cooking with Mama Moon" Series. That food looked AMAZING
I really want to know how she made the rice cakes 🤤
This!!!
im droooolinggg
Your skin is flawless even without makeup. If you had not mentioned it I wouldn't have noticed.
MexiCoreaPonesa honestly I was just drooling over her flawless skin
I’m soooo jealous hehe
Exactly, her skin is glowing and flawless
And because she curled her eyelashes up and seems to have naturally reddish lips i actually thought was wearing make up at first
@@anananana5366 I don't think she has naturally reddish lips I remember a while back she got her lips tattooed.
she got permanent makeup , lashes permed eybrows etc
