    It always cracks me up when someone reviewing an amplifier talks.

    I thought this video was going to help me to hear the difference between these two amps. But alas, not a sound from either of them..

    I've got a Bud and an extension cabinet. I've played a Strat through them with pedals and the sound is amazing.

    He said nothing about the jazz tone and sound of the amps or how they compare tonally to tube amps.

    I wonder what overdrive pedal would be a perfect complement to these amps (whether cheap or expensive).

    How do they compare to the AER compact 60/4?

    Is it possible for you to do this video again. The background music is sort of distracting

    Great overview. Are these any good for use as an frfr for modellers like the kemper profiler?

    I am thinking of the 6" model (likely two channel but the bluetooth with no wire is a huge plus)... then later, ... I can buy the/a cabinet for more sound, etc. on location. I guess the 10" speaker won't make a difference if you plug the DI into the mixer. Best of all worlds ... thanks for the review

    Hey man !thnks for the great video !
    i just wanted to ask you a question cos i finally got a bud six and its sound is incredible but it makes a bit of noise when i turn the bluetooth on, i just wanted to know if you also have this noise on bluetooth?!

    i was hoping your comparison would be more about the sound between the two and not how many channels each have as those can easily be seen in the specs sheet and we dont need you to tell us how many inputs or outputs each have. musicians choose an amp for their sound quality and not whether they are Bluetooth enabled. this video totally missed the mark.

      He can't answer that question, because he can't play guitar.

    When using a Bud 6, how would I get the "breaking up" sound for blues. I don't need a lot of crunch, but I'd like some breakup when needed. Do I have to use a pedal, or can the amp do the job?

    What's the output wattage, and why wouldn't you mention that in the video or the specs site?

      120 watts is noted at henriksenamplifiers dot com.

    Can I use the Henriksen amps for bass as well? I'm having trouble finding lightweight amps for playing bass (w/ big bands) and am thinking about using these but am wondering if there are any pros/cons

      Ashdown 8" combo, sounds great! I've never heard these with bass though.

    Do they work well with pedals? How loud can they get compared to a conventional amp? Also, I can't find the Henriksen external speaker on your website.

      Hi Dave, Our amps take pedals amazingly well! We're working on some updated demos with pedals, but you can check this one out in the meantime ruclips.net/video/iRrdKBl_ET8/видео.html Thanks!

    they would like to be a Polytone...rip.that was a jazz amp.

    • @ejtonefan
      @ejtonefan 11 месяцев назад

      Polytone was a good jazz amp for the time but they don't compare to the rich tonal strength of the Henriksen Bud or Blu 10 amps.

    So pay Bassman prices for this little thing?

    • @marike1100
      @marike1100 6 лет назад +7

      Not at all. A Fender Bassman, if you can find one in original good working condition, will be double or triple the price of most Henriksen amps. I've seen the Blu and Jazz Amp for 600 used, I've never seen a Bassman in any condition for under 1500.
