I had to paint the plastics too.. Top tip for anyone doing the same, you don’t need to spend ages scraping off the rubbery coating, standard thinners takes it straight off!

They are audi TT grab rails, I pulled the mounting lugs off the back of them so they sit flush against the dash and literally screwed them straight on 👍
I have a mk3 maxi life and got my mfsw to work with a midline clockspring and a highline module + coding. however i did notice you need to code in vcds it has 3 spoke steering wheel with mfsw + cruise control + on board computer for mine to power up and work. I still have the stalk but with menu works with both! Whats the part number of your steering wheel module and clockspring? I was thinking about doing the touran dash swap however, i have got the old school cable heater box setup and need to do some research into trying to get the mk4/climate control to work also im also intrigued how you get on with your digital cockpit 6/12 months down the line. Couple of people on the passat groups have had them and they have only lasted 6/7 months before never powering up again so hopefully the company who makes them has improved the quality and longevity of the screen/computer or whatever the issue was beforehand! Love the videos! Hopefully will be down a bluewater meet soon! (Trotters caddy)
@YTDTETV Mk7 clubsport recaros would be perfect but the price tag would be a phone number lol. You can pick up Audi A3 seats for not much money, I've got A3 seats in both my T5 and caddy, look posh and they're really comfy
Hi bud yes they fit, on the from ends of the Touran seat rails there is some little bent over hooks, either cut them off or bend them up and bolt it in 👍
real improvement you are running out of things to do to your caddy. . occasionally you do see a max power car still on the roads they really look out of place . for making hole in heater you could use a plumbing trick . a smoker basicaly heat up a copper pipe end and melt it out .
Couldn’t off come at a better time I’ve got a touran v3 dash I’m fitting in some point this and I already can’t wait 10x better look and feel than the caddy’s
Hey bud ah man you’ve got a keen eye, I didn’t wire that up, need to cut the plug out of the Touran then wire it into the cigarette lighter wires near by 👍

I was reluctant to change the dash, but it’s a most do in my opinion now.. Makes so much difference.
