Love the last clip mate where the traffic officer tried to get in your face. You respectfully but firmly put him on his ass. Well done. I’ve had to do that myself here in Australia 🇦🇺. Some of them have no f n idea
Great video mate keep safe out there I work for EEAST we go to so many rtcs on the motorway network over drivers not paying full attention just keep safe ☺️
Fair play Greg, that last bit,I would have done exactly the same as you with that womble kicking off! Takes alot to get my back up,but when you get the wrong person!!! Great vid, that Merc is certainly a keeper. Stay safe bud.
@@cf3031 check part two out, he is literally on the phone demanding HA and Police assistance for a job on a hard shoulder, no way he’s changing a tyre in a live lane 😂
Didn't know you got involved in repos think it would make great content I did it 30 years ago when it was no holes barred just get the vehicle on and gone.
You can pull these out of gear either under the centre console or under the car itself there’s a little lever there sometimes under a cover for anyone that doesn’t know
Great work Greg. So many wombles with absolutely no clue. No practical experience or common sense and the I am in charge mentality. Well like you mate, certainly not when I am attending an incident. No way. Never again! Some traffic officers in comparison are fantastic and a pleasure to work with. The officer in the last clip would be better as a traffic warden or a doctors receptionist, certainly not someone capable to make decisions on a live lane on a motorway. Apologies for the rant but failure to close a live lane last week nearly got me wiped out!
Blimey that Highways chap at the end was somewhat brusque! Let's hope we don't need his advice in an emergency. Very foolish to have someone driving on the carriageway with a vehicle like that whilst other traffic is in motion not to mention needless potential additional damage to the vehicle. Highways chap seems to have forgotten that he is a public servant. As usual GDB saves the day! Thank you.
That HATO officer was a total knob jockey!! You've recovered hundreds of vehicles on live lanes, you know exactly what you're safe working area is and how to prevent further damage to a rim without it costing hundreds in replacement parts, or at worst, another couple hundred to recover the vehicle to a workshop to replace a rim. If the HATO was being respectful, fair play, but he was 'trying' to dictate to you your job. Same as my job now in waste management (driving dust carts) Someone with no prior experience, no common sense and no respect for your working environment, deserves to be given the cold shoulder at the very best, in other words, Go forth and multiply!! What a bell!!
It is what it is, slow and steady wins the race. Unless your on a forklift 😂. Which job would you do again? Forklift v JCB. I drive an old Toyota so I don’t breakdown.
HALF OF THE VIDEO IS MISSING!!! SO SORRY RUclips ERROR PART 2 UPLOADING IN A SEC!!

You need to get blue light fitted 😂😂
I got 4 skates you can't beat them apart from the fact they come in at 30 kgs each
mistake, Weight: 17.5kg each
Yeah cracking skates bit heavy! But use the rollers and makes life easyier, no where near as heavy as tow dollys 😂😂
@@GDBRescueandrecovery another tip is get some old rubber mats they can be used to protect wide ally wheels
