Yes he did. He died because he was a freaking t*rr0r1st and generic silent character and so adler had to kill him because of orders from superiors and even if bell was still his enemy (and sympathy towards the enemy is not common in the militia,wow) he still apologized to him and saw him as one of them. And yeah,bell was already turning back on them.

One thing I like about this mission it lets you to explore more option. Similar to CW in the mission of Moscow but given the choice and consequence of the mission.

1:07 Damn that’s crazy that you can choose what to execute enemies in close combat. And 5:02 where you can choose which lethals and tacticals to equip. BO6 is so great from this campaign gameplay.

@David-A. WOW, not one but TWO options (causing the same result) in a scripted quick time event and the ability to choose which lethal & tactical equipment you use, I don't think I've ever seen that in a video game before 😲

@@rebekk8 Bell is killed by Adler even if we choose to be good (which is canon). It's why I don't like Adler. Only when Bell decides to betray everyone does he survive. Imagine, even after coming back from being brainwashed you CHOOSE to fight for them still. Truly believing in their cause. Then, you get killed by the people you fought alongside with. Necessary betrayal? Hell no. It's the Cold war United States, this was the GOLDEN age of misinformation and clandestine operations. They could've made Bell disappear and live in America happily ever after or even a strong asset through evaluation. Did bell earn their freedom? I think so.

2. He was still under the effects of the MK ultra,yes,the choice of telling where the bombs are is from the player,but if we are realist,bell was still pretty much under the CIA's control. The effects of the brainwashing are not easy to avoid,we saw it already with both Mason and even adler (on warzone). He also was thinking of killing adler already.
3. Are you being tf serious? Would you trust like,for example,someone that was the right hand of 0s4ma b1n l4den?,because bell wasn't different. They had no knowledge wether he would turn or not around on them,and as perseus fleed along with his allies,did you expect them to wait if bell would go back to his old days?
@@rebekk8 yes, I would. He went against his own brothers. Even after being let go of his brainwashing. He only prepared to kill Adler because he knew what would happen. I saw it as soon as he said "your sacrifice will be very well appreciated" along with the sunset. It's the most obvious "thanks, now look at the pretty flowers. Here's my question to you. Would you rather be chained and treated well to willingly accept your own slaughter after you've outlived your usefulness? Or leave people feeling uneasy, be free and be willing to defend yourself? People have turned coat, it's a lot more common with oppressive ideals. There's a reason Belle was swept under the rug. People like me would be furious and call Adler a murderer. Literally changed someone's views for the better and then kills them. It's sick. Loose ties can be watched and protected. America does it ALL the time.

It's great but they still have the same technology from CODMWII/III but remade them to be appropriate according to that timeline.
