Even in Vietnam, he was attached to MAC-V-SOG. These guys were a group of SF from the whole U.S military (Navy, Marines, Army, Airforce) and CIA. So Mason was a CIA Paramilitary Operations Officer since 1958. You never see him as a Marine the whole game. 1. Hudson tried to stop Woods from interrogating Kravchenko because Woods was a lunatic with an insane amount of PTSD relating to Menendez.
    2. Kravchenko had no reason to tell the truth, and Hudson had no reason to believe he was telling the truth.
    3. Hes only standing there because you aren't supposed to see him once Mason gets knocked to the ground. Treyarch had no reason to animate something that players wouldn't see.
    4. It would more than likely be Raul Menendez. If he wasn't in the body bag then non-corrupt PDF would've captured him. Josefina was also way closer to the grenade, and since theres a massive hole in his house, I doubt there would be a lot of her left to carry in a body bag.
5.Hudson didn't "Lie" to Woods and Mason that Menendez was dead. He 100% thought Menendez was dead at that point due to the massive hole in Menendez's compound.
The only people who would've known Menendez was still alive would-be Noriega or other affiants to Menendez.
    6. Hudson was a mole who was only a mole during 1989, you would know if you paid attention to the cutscene during the final part of suffer with me. The suffer with me part is the only correct thing about this video.

I don't agree with number 3, there's no reason to not animate him, especially with the budget they had and the fact that black ops players were trained by playing the first game, to look for tiny details
if they didn't animate him getting taken down for your reasons, that shows laziness and a weird lack of care for a story that had a lot of it

But about disagreement : Treyarch won't make its story weird and incomprehensible for just not animating one important character in one important scene in its game , i agree 99% of people maybe don't pay attention to hudson , but about %1 people see hudson won't be disarmed in one moment with mason and woods , this will make doubt in story...
Also you said animating hudson to be disarmed won't make any sense , but either not animating him won't make any sense , there wouldn't any cost for them to just enable an animation for an character

Something to consider is that it doesn't make sense for Menendez to restrain and later kill Hudson if he had been supporting him as the mole up to that point. Menendez is cunning and patient enough not to let his anger compromise his strategy for revenge, and a CIA mole is a huge asset that he has no reason to kill off at that point since he wanted to play the long game to make them suffer (to break Woods physically by disabling him, and mentally by making him kill Mason then one day corrupting David). I also would have figured that Hudson, if he was the mole, would have known that Menendez never planned to kill David as he was part of the plan to make them suffer.
Unless the case is that Hudson refused to go along with punishing Mason and Woods (which doesn't make sense if he's been betraying them for years), or Menendez saw it as punishment for not stopping Woods from killing Josefina. If the latter is the case, there's no explanation as to why he didn't inform Menendez of the mission that kills Josefina prior to it occurring?
Idk, I think Hudson being the mole has too many things that don't line up. I definitely think we'll find out who the real mole is in the next game, but something's gonna happen that causes Hudson to forever be labeled as the traitor in history (implied by how much Woods still despises him)

i have a feeling that Hudson isn't the mole, i think that someone close to Hudson is the actual mole, Hudson and this "friend" both know that "friend" is the mole, not only that but "friend" is higher ranked than Hudson in the CIA and he also has some dirt on Hudson.
Which means that Hudson is carrying all of the mole actions for this "friend", then after the mission in Panama where Hudson and Mason die, Adler gets wind of what happened and knows that they couldn't screw up that easily since they were very good at their jobs and since Adler gets the job done and can get any info at all costs, "friend" the higher CIA ranked person blames Adler for all the mole accusations and is forcing Adler into hiding.
if i were to look for who this "friend of Hudson" is, i think that "friend"=Black from BOCW, he is close enough to the President and could be very close to Hudson since they look like they've worked together for many years or at least a lot of time, which means he has access to every information that it exists.

Hudson has always been shifty and distant to both Woods and Mason, but I don't think he's the mole.
McKnight went dark on Mason and Woods before they got to Noriega and never contacted anyone. If Hudson isn't the mole, McKnight could have captured him for Menendez and that's why Menendez has Hudson during Suffer With Me.
Adler? I don't really trust at all, so either way, whether or not he's the mole, wouldn't surprise me. Not sure if there's any evidence of him being a mole, he's just very distant from everyone else, focused on his own things. But that could be a cover for him being the mole.

Ngl I don’t think he’s the mole but I think the reason why he chose to die is when he said “woods. I..can’t I have 3 kids.. they-“ * shotgun cocked * “OK ME” seems morbid but maybe in Hudson’s mind since David stayed with his wife and kids the moles (notice it’s not mole cause Kravchenko said there’s tons of them not just one) who kidnapped him could have potentially killed his wife and kids since Raul told Hudson “BECAUSE YOU MUST SUFFER AS I HAVE SUFFERED” obv Raul couldn’t do much to woods since he ran away from home as a child so much of his early life he was alone with no friends or family so his “suffering” is watching those close to him die

Hudson wasn't a mole. His family and David were both in the hands of Menendes. He chose to be a husband and father first. I'm also pretty sure that he told Alex what was going on and Alex came along quietly to save his son. The reason he decided that he would sacrifice himself was because he knew that if he lived, himself and his family would be ruined and he would be revealed as the "mole" that chose his family over the CIA. With Woods being alive, he knew that things could be set right in the future

People are going crazy saying it could be Adler Etc 😂 I mean to each their own but what some don't know or think about is that computer you can access at the game menu of BO1, I recently went through every email on the servers that are on that computer and you find some crazy s**t. Basically there were people at the C.I.A that didn't want Mason working there (Weaver and some others) but Dragovich having brainwashed Mason did want him there obviosuly to kill J.F.K. There are also recordings you can listen to of Dragovich referring to 'Lancer' (JFKS' codename) as too young for office and too idealistic for some unknown plan.
Now I won't go into every email, but long story short Mason was not properly cleared for duty, a C.I.A analyst, Ryan Jackson had emails to and from Richard Kain stating he was to clear Mason for duty no matter what and that this had come as a direct request from the president, which was true, however JFK asked for Mason personally because he was told Mason was 'the best we have, anywhere' There is also mail in Kains inbox where he is asked by his superior about unsanctioned operations being carried out and that they are to cease immediately. This Richard Kain was planning and running Black Operations without his superiors knowledge.

    • @LuminousJay94
      @LuminousJay94 5 месяцев назад

What's also weird is that in the BO1 mission USDD, where you go and meet JFK at the Pentagon, when you reach the war room or situation room, Mason has a flash and sees a number sequence, then strangely McNamara leans in and says 'Not yet' after Hudson mentions the situation room is 'Overwhelming isn't it'. For me all this likely points to there being perhaps 1 mole in the C.I.A Richard Kain using his position and others ulterior motives to put Mason close to the president and kill him. If you can I advise trying to get on to that BO1 computer to draw your own conclusions but It certainly goes deeper than just the main operators in the series.

Hudson knew if he didn’t cooperate this last time that it would’ve costed him his family’s life . Hudson knew he was dead anyway so gave up his life to save David.

Is it just me that thinks it's Richard Kain, McNamara and the likes of those guys that are the mole/Moles? Kravchenko says 'He even has people in the C.I.A' he didn't necessarily mean there was just one mole embedded and I mean that computer you can access in the B01 game menu with everyones users and different servers, there are a ton of shady emails from Kain telling people to have Mason psychologically cleared for field duty despite being clearly unfit for it (Though he is still the right man for the job given his position) Ryan Jackson who was a C.I.A Analyst had mails with the doctor that was seeing Alex Mason, after Mason had sent her mail threatening possible suicide she stressed to Jackson how bad of an idea she really thought clearing Mason was, however she agreed and did so after being pushed down on from above. Ryan Jackson was also told by Richard Kain to not assist Gregori Weaver in the search for a long lost relative (I believe it was his sister) Weaver had mailed Ryan Jackson for assistance with tracking her down but when Jackson relayed this request to Richard Kain, Kain quite literally instructed Jackson to do whatever he could to shut Weaver up and leave it alone.
There are also recordings from a meeting held at some point that Dragovich was attending, in the recording Dragovich refers to JFK by his code name 'Lancer' stating 'Lancer is too young' meaning he can pose a problem idealistically in the future.
Basically after brainwashing Mason, Dragovich needed a way to get him close to JFK, and the mission USDD where we meet JFK in the Pentagon gave him just that, remember when Mason, Hudson and McNamara get to the situation room and Hudson says 'Overwhelming isn't it?' Mason has a flash and sees a number sequence at which point McNamara leans in and says 'Not yet' now I don't know about everyone else but that seems to me like McNamara is subliminally telling Mason to be patient, that he will be within reach of JFK soon, because McNamara surely can't be replying to Hudson when he says the overwhelming line as it makes no sense.
Those mail and extras really blew my mind when I got through them all.

While Hudson IS very Shady and Mysterious (He's CIA, so that ain't a shocker, tbh) but being the mole doesn't line up with his Motives from B01-Cold War-Suffer with Me, he doesn't actually really do much that portrays him as a Mole, plus, just like a comment below, why would Menendez kill Hudson if he was an asset?, Menendez ain't dumb he uses every asset he can, Plus if he was a Mole, why not kill Woods and Mason on the Boat?, no one would know, no one would find them, like, Hudson had many chances to kill them, gut he didn't which is another reason why He isn't the Mole.
