i just did the boss fight. What a disugsting letdown. So much buildup for an easy bossfight and no reward, NOT EVEN A BADGE. The lobby was really fun but most of the games were just boring and obnoxious to play for the event. this event IS STILL A MASSIVE CASH GRAB. 40K robux for a sword that should have been free for the bossfight is insane. Also the gold track is overprices and the seperate gold items too. The daily items you could buy were better but still slightly overprices. I just find it annoying that they made a classic event, yet somehow still manages to use the most gen alpha atracting games ever. this was less of a letdown than the hunt but it still wasn't really good
The fact that bossfight is just a walking dude while q dusty trip did a giant 1x1x1x1 fight on roblox HQ building is insane, they managed to make a bossfight your average zombie npc
Lobby was BY FAR the funniest thing, some avatars were easily flingable with an item for tix and you can send anyone off the map or into any game portal
5/10 event but lobby boosted my (probably not others tho) enjoyment to 8/10
I do agree the event is still a cash grab but at least the items where cheaper

There is actually a purple portal in the game, which I’m pretty sure u walked past multiple times, and it takes you to a special little challenge where it’s inspired by an old Roblox game I forgot the name. You gotta defend at least 10 waves, every 2 waves u get a token. And that’s mostly why people liked the bee swarm quest.

Time was the biggest problem, in my opinion. It was Memorial Weekend, and I barely got to play any games because I had to work. I wish more time was given to the event.
In my defense in one of the games in the event, Dragon Adventures wasn't a problem to me because I have experience in that game and didn't buy the gamepass. However, I do see the complaints about the gamepass. Dragon Adventures has built-in Egg/Dragon Observatory, which helps you find eggs. I don't understand why they didn't went with that instead of the gamepass. Because having none-experience players to pay the one-time pass to aid themselves isn't right.
I thought Roblox would pick truly classic games, such a bake a cake that was a perfect one, but sadly roblox didnt pick that game. The creator himself made a "mini" event so players could attleast have fun. But I think Ipad kids need a skibidi toilet game to be attleast enganged in the event.

If you don't think about the Games not being Classic and the fact that some games' quests are very annoying/ boring/ repetitive/ hard, I'd say this event is quite alright.
But I must say that when the Epik Duck things comes out, if it's the same thing as The Hunt's ending, then it's trash
The whloe server waited for nothing basically we murdered 1x1x1x1 and got nothing, not even a badge

I think the theme that was with _The Hunt_ was something that involves time and space; but most of the games during that event didn't really have a theme with them, expect for maybe a couple of them.
Ngl I feel a lotta ppl kinda did rip apart this event (at least in my social circle) and just be very pessimistic abt it but the one thing that I genuinely enjoyed the lobby, it honestly gives me hope for future events where they can improve and expand on the things that made this even fun for me (but please no more dev hunts.. PLEASE)

The hunt was even better in my opinion, you didn't had to wait in queque for 3 hours straight (and most of the time when you're close to joining the admin lefts) to get an UGC.

in blade ball one of the quest was to get every tix there is in the game but they are hidden on maps that have nothing to do with classic or the classic event. :/
"Less of a cash grab" the final boss is literally an advertisment for a limited sword that costs 40,000, you can skip levels by spending robux and the gold track items are worse than the hunt gold track items

I hate that even though I had like 20 robux token things that they wouldnt let me buy the item I wanted until I "unlocked the previous item", like I earned the tokens let me buy what I want to buy...
I preferred the hunt tbh, going to a ton of games with only one badge was more fun, + the fact we have less games means less options,
I hope the leaked bossfight isnt gonna be a complete mess. I dont think the even is too bad on roblox's end, the lobby, items, etc. There also were a few great good events but then again 70% of the games were really bad. There is no middle ground on the games at all.
Playing the lobby is also way more rewarding and fun than most other games because it can give upto 10 tokens, which allows me to get the stuff i want with only a few bummers.

I feel like the tix could’ve been used as a seperate currency where you can go to the tix machine and buy other items for tix or maybe buy the already existing items for twice as much tix as tokens because ngl when i was playing the games i did not give a single damn about a currency that will take me way longer to get AND not be able to exchange it for anything

In my eyes, the tix are more of a side collectable than a main collectable, so it'd make sense for their requirements to be similar in every game. As for the event, yeah, it was better than the Hunt, but it could've used a better game selection. (Did they not play both TDS and TTD back to back?)

I'd say every single negative involving the developers is equally roblox's fault directly.
Why? Simple: Roblox chose those developers for this event even after seeing the disastrous quests they made for the hunt.
During the hunt I could give them the benefit of the doubt and say "oh they had no idea it was gonna be this bad" but they literally just did the same thing twice in a row like something was gonna change.
It's a shame we cant riot to roblox about this stuff, multibillion dollar company has all the control

Tbh, this event was better than the last events roblox hosted, but there were a few factors that made the event bad
1-the twin atlas devs scam (letterly hitchhiking players into different game instead of the meant one for the event through the portals and only to get the verified mark
2-The event was short and not enough free items (It would be better if roblox made the event last like 2 weeks or a month as a maximum and it was great th have the old free unlimited items back tired of them limited ugc items fr)

in my opinion i would say that its kinda better, downsides that one of the games are bad (including skibidi toilet and restaurant tycoon 2) arsenal and the classic hub was fun, roblox finally stepped up their game atleast

Mostly i struggle on is trying get the token and tix but the tips and information being told to me still not exactly helpful where i become bored fast of me not even knowing what im soppose to do while other games i play in the event at least made it more clear on how get it but other ones were to confusing to understand and yeah i mostly i see a lot flaws in the event and could have had actual classic Roblox games instead of cash grab games😅
I would say that if the hunt would be compared to the 2020 egg hunt, the classic would compare to the 2019 egg hunt

I think that the entire event has been created for gain robux from us (like the 1x1x1x1's sword, the price is ridiculous )
bee swarm one was fun imo. felt like it fit in pretty nicely with the theme, plus its an older game
The live event just made it a little worse. I know its been a few mins but the event got KreekCraft banned on the last minute before it started, and you dont even get an item or badge. Not to mention the sword is 40k robux
I actually really enjoyed this event. The games were a good difficulty (some sucked) and I was able to get 244 badges.

It’s because ever since they started the man hunts they made it more greedy and the stock market is just plummeting since it is so boring and there are little to no creative aspects. They don’t care about the kids imagination, just the revenue from the kids.

This event is dreadful, at least with the hunt. You got 6 awards and didn't have a terrible boss, which gives you nothing, and he says it's not a cash grab. The sword is 39999 like jesus😂😂😂

By far, the entire classic event was garbage. There were barely any classic games, like, what does a skibidi toilet game have to do with the classic? Literally, the only classic games were Arsenal, Bee Swarm Simulator, and TDS. Like, all the other games were either new, bad, or good. Dusty trip, for example, was good. But what infuriates me is that a toilet game was in the event when any other game could've been chosen. This is my opinion, and literally, the classic was awful. Literally, the best game was the hub itself. Don't even get me started on the difficulty on Bedwars.

And what do we have?
Only 15 games, which are not even Classic, and not even from 2014 - 2018.
Most of the quests are garbage ( Again Roblox, you didn't learn from the last time)
The Ending with a Boss fight was just trash. No cutscene, no mechanics, no prizes.

You have to unlock it in order
Little pay not much
They spent too much time on the lobby
Pay to win it seems
Very expensive
Takes lots and lots of time
Hunts in the games were actually quite boring
Feels like the hunt
Dev hunts are not that fun to me

Some of them are mediocre at best but the lobby more than made up for it

This event was like i guessed in my opinion worse than the hunt (i really liked the hunt) but was better than expected. Many of the games in the hunt were way better.

My opinions:
Happy that the classics returned just for days
Happy that some games put effort for players
The achievement on the “boss” fight was probably making friends since some servers i go too every play keeps helping each other and actually trying to help you when 1x1x1x1 gets close to you
Some items were amazing
Overall, 5/10
the whole point was to make roblox feel old and classic again,
none of these games were close to the roblox people played in 2010-2015
