When I saw that Image my jaw literally dropped. Nightwing is that character that a lot of DC writers LOVE to insert their fanfic into.

Sometimes it gets over the top like Gotham knights making fun of his ass which is just so hypocritical of the writers
I love it so much. Bruce expressed that he wanted Batman to become more like Nightwing, and Dick had one of the best comics where he is Batman but still acts like Nightwing, Dick as Batman constantly smiling and it doesn't feel wrong, therefore I think it's okay if Bruce plays Batman in the nightwing outfit. It's a really cool twist.

I kinda like it, it make sense to me, when Dick in the battle of the mantle take the batman role he didn't do it because he wanted that its because it was necessary and with this situation i like it is a dad doing the same for his son.
The Zdarsky comics of Batman (outside gotham war) has been interesting to me.
I think it’s gonna be awesome. I’m really looking forward to reading it.

Bruce as Nightwing is sweet but hilarious! I know this is a universe in which glasses hid Superman's identity but come one no one would fall for this! Never mine the face and body type they'll know this isn't Nightwing by the shape of his buns. Your right Jason & Tim would've been better, hell Jon Kent would've been the better choice and a good call back to when Clark pretended to be Batman in the DCAU. Still I'm looking forward to seeing Bruce deal with the Heartless mess while Dick is away and getting better

While I'm not normally a fan of "Heroes Framed" storylines, this does seem interesting and had some great set up. I don't think this story is meant to ruin Nightwing, just put him in a runt and have him work to get things back to normal. This is like "Bruce Wayne Fugitive" Where Bruce Wayne was framed for murder (except in that case some of the heroes actually had doubts about his innocents). But this isn't character assassination, like some of the latest Batman books have been, this is just a challenge for our hero to over come
@@patrickmcguire7896 I mean, it is character assassination if Batman is willing to sacrifice his identity for his son. No offense, but I'm not sure if he'd do that. He'd probably investigate first.
@@BrandontheAwesomeno, he would. He's done similar things before. His sons tend to come over the missions a lot, he claims they don't but they do 90% of the time

Another great video. I'm glad to see you're diversifying with retro reviews of Silver Age comics and doing reviews of DC comics. I'm also a huge Nightwing Fan. This month commemorates the 40th anniversary of Nightwing in July 1984. However, as you and your Dad are huge Silver Age Fans, you're probably aware Dick Grayson is not the only version of Nightwing. Nightwing is first depicted in the story "Superman in Kandor" in Superman #158 (January 1963). It is an alias used by Superman in pre-crisis stories. The story is set in Kandor, a Kryptonian city that was shrunken and preserved in a bottle by Brainiac. In Kandor, Superman has no superpowers and is branded an outlaw there due to a misunderstanding.[
To disguise themselves, Superman and Jimmy Olsen create vigilante identities inspired by Batman and Robin. Because neither bats nor robins lived on Krypton, Superman chooses the names of two birds owned by his Kandorian friend Nor-Kan: Nightwing for himself, and Flamebird for Jimmy. Nightwing and Flamebird rename Nor-Kan's underground laboratory as the "Nightcave", and use it as their secret headquarters. They also convert Nor-Kan's automobile into their "Nightmobile", and use "jet-belts" to fly into battle.
In Superman's Pal, Jimmy Olsen #69 (June 1963), "The Dynamic Duo of Kandor" introduces Nightwing's dog Nighthound. In "The Feud Between Batman and Superman" in World's Finest #143 (August 1964), Batman and Robin themselves visit Kandor with Superman and Olsen, and the two Dynamic Duos team up.
Then in the Bronze Age in In Superman Family #183 (May/June 1977), Superman's look-alike second cousin Van-Zee and his niece's husband Ak-Var take up the Nightwing and Flamebird identities. The vigilantes take on crime in their city as had Superman and Olsen before them.
I agree that Batman taking over the mantle of Nightwing isn't a good fit. Jason Todd, Tim Drake, or even Damien Wayne are better choices. As your channel knows I'm a huge SuperWonder Fan, a BatCat Fan, and a SpiderCat Fan. I'm also a NightBat fan where Dick Grayson and Barbara Gordon should be together and married. Dick Grayson has been around since his introduction in "Detective Comics # 38" in April 1940. Over 84 years ago. Barbara Gordon has been around since William Dozier introduced her character in the 1966 "Batman" TV series. Then in the comics in "Detective Comics # 359" in January 1967, the month my younger brother was born. Isn't it time to get these two together? I think so.
Keep up the great work. I think you're diversifying because you're preparing for the inevitable with "ASM". As I stated in my last comment, Justina Ireland is an activist who wants more authors of color and more characters of color in the entertainment industry including the comics industry. I think she'll try to replace Peter Parker with Miles Morales. I hope I'm wrong, but what else can I think with a 10-issue story arc the "8 Deaths of Spider-Man". Getting closer to 3k subscribers every day on the mission to 100k. Cheers.
the silver age superman books sure have their charm! I always love looking through my collection of them and just reminding myself what I actually own. even the silver age superbly books are great fun.
I too love nightwing and Babs together, their relationship Is always such a highlight of the book so im happy they're at least dating as of now although I know that can always change whenever they want. im glad you liked the little branching out ive been doing lately! I always aim to be mostly spidey while having a more diverse video every 2nd to 3rd upload!

Now Bludhaven will see the NightBRICK jokes aside this could work if they decide to give Nightwing a nice ending and taking note the fact that Dick wass batman in the past this could end well but also its True the fact that bruce is too Buff to be in his son's Shoes i think if they would make the nightwing suit a little different or make richard greyson a little more jacked or give bruce less steroids this could be more fitting for now thats all i can say only left have hope that this guys dosent screw the things too much

Tim Drake is way too short to be Nightwing.
Bruce is way to buff and couldn’t even be bothered to shave, perfect fit would’ve been Jason. Tim would at least look like Dick
@@mnstashnah it’s not that Bruce is too buff because Grayson is also pretty jacked it’s more noticeable if you compare their height than build. But I do agree Jason would be the best fit out of them all

it aint that bad , think about it, di9k become batman when he was gone now batman become nightwing when dik was gone , it makes sense
