So far, I have used all of the new features. including copilot and they are great! I need to play more with the brand kit. Watching this video, I realized that there are some fonts I used this weekend that are decorated that I can add to the brand kit and not have to recreate on a different project. I love the Kittl updates. While it’s handy to know the canvas size by clicking it, I would like to know the actual image size of the images I am placing (not the resized image size.) Also, what is the actual image size of Kittl AI generated images?
All the new features are awesome and make designing a lot easier and faster. Issue I have is when you are in the layers panel. The scroll bar disappears and I cannot get to the layer I want to edit. Even if I expand the panel up and there are more layers than what shows in it.
One tool that would bring insane value to kittl would be some sort of color separation. I’m extremely new to all of this so it was a bummer that I had to go back to PSD for that
A lot of these updates are great, but I found that using the List view of the color palette for Vector Illustrations is much more time consuming than the old version that you had. It actually made me not want to use it. My favorite thing about kittl actually the ability to change colors really quickly and efficiently, and now it’s actually a lot more laborious. Can you please add an option to do a thumbnail view toggle so that we can have access to the thumbnail view or everything is compact again and easier to see what colors you’re using. I personally think the list is a downgrade. Thank you. I love your tool so much.
Thanks for the feedback here. Please keep in mind that you can utilize multiple artboards within 1 project instead of duplicating or starting another one (if you are working on variations).
Love all the updates. I have noticed a bit more lagging , freezing up lately. Especially when working with vectors. I’m running kittl with a high end pc. Anyone else have these issues?
Hey there! Glad you're loving the features! We are always working on kittl being faster and less laggy. Sometimes this can be due to internet issues rather than the pc's strength, but both can be contributors. More features and faster editing to come! 🥳
I would love an “artboard colors” palette and I have had such irritation with the layers panel. It feels useless to me bc I can only see one layer at a time. I can’t do anything with the layers from there. Am I missing something? Or is this just a UI fault?
Thanks for the suggestion here! In terms of the layers panel, what is it exactly that you wish to achieve from editing in the layers panel? When you select a layer, you select it on your artboard, with all of the same editing capability as if you were to select the object itself, so we are not entirely sure what you are looking to do. Let us know!
@@mandyb1372 I’d agree with that. I’d also like an option to see the colors in a specific art board as well as the doc. Now with all the art boards you sometimes want to diff color ways in one file , but it’s harder to change colors globally that way.
If I could add a feature We need to be able to print from inside Kittl. It's wasting valuable time having to download and open in photoshop to print a proof. You have print to products but many of us print our own things. Also we need a paint brush...

Hey there! Eraser tool applies to static (raster) images only, not to a group, or to vector elements. We are looking at increasing the capability of the eraser tool in the future.
Why did you remove the mascot in ai generator. It was so cute. Add that back. It is totally valuable. Don't take away things if you want to add. It works in your minds but not in ours. The mascot is a perfect example. It's a great visual cue especially when people aren't great prompt writers Please put it back... It produced comedic gold characters
@Kittldesign yes!!! I was having a problem with Chrome the other night. I tried Firefox and there it was! I love that mascot style lol it comes up with fantastic, funny and great images.

You should be able to do so now! With an object selected, you can see the size over on the right side panel at the top.
The only thing that keeps me from using Kittl exclusively is the inability to export inflattened PDFs. I hope that feature can be added to the roadmap

Hey there! You can change the color via the color tool, or you can vectorize the raster images with our vectorizer.
