That said, given it's now attached to dyslexia for better or worse (whether it's actually doing anything to help dyslexic readers or not, there's definitely a perception that it does), that does make a lot of the vitriol against it leave a bit of a bad taste in the mouth. The Silent Hill font reminds me of an old road sign where the black lettering is starting to wear away. That's often how I imagine the Silent Hill title (still not played any in the series though). I'm also an old graphic designer and has to take a class on identifying fonts by sight. It was at 7 AM, 4 hours a day, five days a week., and I had to take it three semesters in a row because I couldn't stay awake for it.
