I come from an audio background, so I have many tips and tricks. The number one tip and trick I have to share.
1) good microphone placement and minimize background noise.
I did not write “good microphone” but “good” “microphone” “placement”. The placement of a microphone can make a good microphone sound great as well as a great microphone sound horrible.
The best way to determine if the microphone placement is good, listen to the microphone. The easiest way to evaluate placement is to record a couple of seconds of vocals. Listen to it, mark where the microphone. Change the location, typically closer is better, record another sample (try to use the same phrase or speech). Listen again… etc. until you find the sound you like.
2) remember to listen to your audio both on headphones and on loudspeakers. Your listeners/viewers don’t have the same equipment as you do.

regarding the first tip, what you can do is keep the original on another track and play with the volume until you have thr right amount of background ambience while keeping the clarity of the clean track

You can do the enhance on premiere beta! When using this A LOT its super helpful to have it in the software.

@@lilafromyoutube the music just doesn't change in volume. I haven't done any extensive testing I just know the first couple times I did it it worked. Then after trying to set it up again it didn't. I'll try to see if I can double-check and report back

I think using the line "real artists" in the Track Club section is an insult. Soooo you're saying musicians that don't have global commercial success and get played on Top 40 radio aren't "real artists"? You should re-word that copy and if Track Club fed you that line I would suggest to them how inappropriate it is. Anyone who creates original work, whether it be music or film or paintings or sculptures or anything in between is a real artist. Commercial success has nothing to do with it.
This is like saying someone is handsome and you responding with “oh so I’m not?”. Just because they work with “real artists” doesn’t mean other artists aren’t real artists, nor does it mean that they’re insinuating real artists are the ones with commercial success. It seems like you’re reading way too much into this honestly. It’s not that deep man 😂 I totally agree the last part of your comment - there’s a lot of people who can consider themselves real artists. Money definitely doesn’t define how reel an artist or creator is. Have a great weekend!
