I've been working on my reel for about 3 months and haven't been happy with the ending up until this point, this tutorial just solved it. Thanks Javier!
It's incredible how this tutorial teaches us tremendously more than what was advertised. It's like anti-clickbait. I didn't even know all the hidden settings he was bringing up existed.
This is great! Definitely learned some new stuff. The way I usually do this is by cutting around the segment at the end that I want to have reverb, nesting that, and then in the nested audio duplicating the track and dragging it out really far. Then, I mute the track that I lengthened so it doesn't play in the main comp. Then, I go back to the main comp and drag out the nested audio a little ways and add the studio reverb. The lengthened clip gives you the room with your nested audio to let it reverb without adding additional audio to it.
Thank you man! Seen this video when you released it and didnt have a use for it yet. Came back to it today because I needed it, and I just want to say I appreciate you!
Brilliant tutorial. I used to do this in Audition and be messing around with multiple programs but this is such a clever way to do it without changing between the two. Thanks Javier!
i get excited like this too when i edit that i start dancing when something i want works out haha luv u that u really are into it, thats how i knew to subscribe. Dont ever lose that excitement for things u love.
You can just apply the effect and nest it. In the nested sequence duplicate the clip, disable it and extend it as much as you like ... Its a lot cleaner
I was not searching for this effect but also considering about using it when this video poped up in my recommendations. This is like a miracle XD! Thank YOU!!!
Great content. I’ve watched you twice today, and both vids were helpful and entertaining! You’re a natural teacher and have just the right touch of humor!--- And you clearly love what you do! Just the kind of helper this beginner needs! You’ve gained a subscriber!!
Thank You again, as I had to refresh the technique of "reversing" and it was one video that was able to explain clearly... for my understanding. I've watchde a couple - FYI! Had subscribed earlier last year and feel very pleased to comeback again!! Cheers
This is a great effect I've been using for years. I do this by creating an audio nest that includes the truncated audio track and another bit of muted audio further down the nest timeline. This extends the playback duration of the nest, and consequently the reverb tail can play past the end of the truncated audio. The advantage of this is that I can do it all with one track without interfering with other video and audio tracks.
Great video! quick tip (not sure if you know): To create a new track for audio, it is faster to just drag the audio clip down beneath the "Mix" track. Same with video but up.
Because of you, I now have to go back and edit all my videos to change the song endings :-) all your fault ! Thanks for the great trick. Never thought of using "reverb" to end an audio track gracefully.
only found reverb in after effects, so im glad I dont have to switch apps just to add that. thanks for your tip very much appreciate it even if i wont use it rn maybe in a montage but its good to know cuz sometinmes rever adds a little more to your videos so thx
Javier!! I am in the biggining of my videomaker path working already and you have no idea the help you gave me to level up my game and give great results. i already spend so much money that i didnt have with programs, envato, gear, etc and then your videos come as a holly spirit to salve. thank you so much
Watching your videos makes me realize how the audio's technical aspects have been put aside while I was (and still, even after 6 years) learning Premiere! Gotta step up my audio game, thanks! :)
Definitely gonna use this, thanks!

What's he doing here hahah
Lmao hi sunless

I love how excited you get when editing. This happens to me all the time and I get an adrenaline rush. Great video, thanks!

this is a way simpler way. and you don't have to affect an entire track just for the one part that needs an echo. thank you jacob
DUDE I'VE BEEN SEARCHING THIS FOR YEARS, LITERALLY SINCE I STARTED EDITING, THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!
These are the little things I just love adding to my edits, I make a point of adding at least one thing new to each video, thanks man!!🍻😀

Comment of the month for sure ha!
Hahah! True!

I made a sequence with the reverb effect, but when I copy it and paste it to a new sequence, the echo goes away, any idea why?
@@TheTravelMoneyGuy did you create a nested sequence with the effect and then paste the nest into another sequence?
If so, shouldn't have any problems
@@RoGersVision thanks I'll check it out!
That was I did all the time 🙂
Can you explain this more in depth? I don't really get it
I was not searching for this effect but also considering about using it when this video poped up in my recommendations.

Ahh, what!? I never knew 'track keyframes' were a thing!! Thanks for the great tips

that was huge bro... in our faces men...thank you
Massive thanks, it is one of the best methods to have a dedicated reverb track, which is what I needed
Another super helpful video!! Just used this to transition between two songs in a wedding video!!
SICK BRO!!!! U can't even imagine how many time im lost to make endings on tracks
I just used this today. It made a big difference. Thank you.
You actually that effect in the end of this video. That's awesome man. 👌👌👌

YEEEEESSSSS! Dude just leveled up my house tour videos for my client! 🙏🏽THANKS YOU!

You seem like a cool and talented guy. I wish I had more friends like you irl thanks for the tip
Thank you so much for the Tutorial. Really appreciate it! Lots of Love from MALAYSIA. 😍
Great tip! You could also just nest the duplicate audio clip and add the reverb to that so you don't have to dedicate a whole track to that effect.
I was looking for this yesterday couldnt find it, Today RUclips has blessed me with putting it in my recommended
THANK YOU SO MUCH! Ive been looking for this for so long!
