You can just apply the effect and nest it. In the nested sequence duplicate the clip, disable it and extend it as much as you like ... Its a lot cleaner
It's incredible how this tutorial teaches us tremendously more than what was advertised. It's like anti-clickbait. I didn't even know all the hidden settings he was bringing up existed.
Brilliant tutorial. I used to do this in Audition and be messing around with multiple programs but this is such a clever way to do it without changing between the two. Thanks Javier!
This is a great effect I've been using for years. I do this by creating an audio nest that includes the truncated audio track and another bit of muted audio further down the nest timeline. This extends the playback duration of the nest, and consequently the reverb tail can play past the end of the truncated audio. The advantage of this is that I can do it all with one track without interfering with other video and audio tracks.
This is great! Definitely learned some new stuff. The way I usually do this is by cutting around the segment at the end that I want to have reverb, nesting that, and then in the nested audio duplicating the track and dragging it out really far. Then, I mute the track that I lengthened so it doesn't play in the main comp. Then, I go back to the main comp and drag out the nested audio a little ways and add the studio reverb. The lengthened clip gives you the room with your nested audio to let it reverb without adding additional audio to it.
Great content. I’ve watched you twice today, and both vids were helpful and entertaining! You’re a natural teacher and have just the right touch of humor!--- And you clearly love what you do! Just the kind of helper this beginner needs! You’ve gained a subscriber!!
I've been working on my reel for about 3 months and haven't been happy with the ending up until this point, this tutorial just solved it. Thanks Javier!
i get excited like this too when i edit that i start dancing when something i want works out haha luv u that u really are into it, thats how i knew to subscribe. Dont ever lose that excitement for things u love.
Watching your videos makes me realize how the audio's technical aspects have been put aside while I was (and still, even after 6 years) learning Premiere! Gotta step up my audio game, thanks! :)
Thank you man! Seen this video when you released it and didnt have a use for it yet. Came back to it today because I needed it, and I just want to say I appreciate you!
I was not searching for this effect but also considering about using it when this video poped up in my recommendations. This is like a miracle XD! Thank YOU!!!
I was searching so badly for exactly this as I wanted to incorporate this transition effect from a movie I had known & loved, thanks man I appreciate it...and what a great channel to find it on!
I'm using an older version of Premiere but still managed to apply despite the differences. Thank you. I've been wanting to create this effect for years, but never new what it was called or how to describe it to anyone.
You can do the same thing by 1. Cut the Audio just where you did, 2. Extend but silence the audio (-inf. db), 3. nest the audio, (optional 4. render and replace audio), and add the Studio Reverb on to that last audio clip. I find that to be much easier and cleaner on the timeline. Nice video; always interesting to see how others do stuff :)
This is something I've been wanting to do for years! I usually end up taking the end of a track and the carefully mix it in with where I want the music to end, but now I how so many more options! Thanks!👏
Javier!! I am in the biggining of my videomaker path working already and you have no idea the help you gave me to level up my game and give great results. i already spend so much money that i didnt have with programs, envato, gear, etc and then your videos come as a holly spirit to salve. thank you so much
I'm interested in something different to what this video aims for but damn man, the first couple of minutes have been a wonder. You are a natural when it comes to explaining.
yup! been doing this for like 2 years now, it's amazing! i nested the rever effect, duplicated the audio layer, extended it and disabled that layer, but transparent video is much better lol! tha nks!
Definitely gonna use this, thanks!

What's he doing here hahah
Lmao hi sunless

I love how excited you get when editing. This happens to me all the time and I get an adrenaline rush. Great video, thanks!

I made a sequence with the reverb effect, but when I copy it and paste it to a new sequence, the echo goes away, any idea why?
@@TheTravelMoneyGuy did you create a nested sequence with the effect and then paste the nest into another sequence?
If so, shouldn't have any problems
@@RoGersVision thanks I'll check it out!
That was I did all the time 🙂
Can you explain this more in depth? I don't really get it
Golly! This tutorial is so much more visually appealing than expected! Gotta love it.
Javier saves the day again. The GOAT.

Cool tip! I’m going to try it next video!

this is a way simpler way. and you don't have to affect an entire track just for the one part that needs an echo. thank you jacob
Superb, thanks man. Great turtorial
Thank you so much for the Super Dave!

Massive thanks, it is one of the best methods to have a dedicated reverb track, which is what I needed
awwww yea boiiii
This is my favorite comment of the month.
Making me feel famous seesh!!
You single handedly just changed the audio game of all my videos. Thank you so much for this!
Thanks dude 😎
Always had to do this in a DAW and export it with longer timing. Nice to see there's a better way!
You seem like a cool and talented guy. I wish I had more friends like you irl thanks for the tip
Thank you so much!! Also must say that I really appreciate you giving the shortcuts… can never hear them enough as I’m learning to use them more. 😊

Loved the short and sweet tutorial, loved the audio effect, but I subbed because of 1:20 lol
That bubble bloat ending with reverb. You rock!
I watched three other videos and still did not get it until I watched your video. Thank you!
YEEEEESSSSS! Dude just leveled up my house tour videos for my client! 🙏🏽THANKS YOU!

I just used this today. It made a big difference. Thank you.
The smile at 4:45 was my exact reaction lol. Thanks for this video Javier
MIND. BLOWN.
This a really nice way to end a video. I usually just fade out the music. Now I'll apply this reverb effect.
the best intro for a premiere tutorial yet!
I was not searching for this effect but also considering about using it when this video poped up in my recommendations.

The Ending was so cool!
Thank you so clear and I was searching for the automation tool for the cut keyframes feature similarly to a DAW in Ableton
Great tip! You could also just nest the duplicate audio clip and add the reverb to that so you don't have to dedicate a whole track to that effect.
This what im looking for years, just pop in recommendation. Thanks
I was looking for this yesterday couldnt find it, Today RUclips has blessed me with putting it in my recommended
