A hilarious ending honestly, The way the mortician was going, you woulda figured he'd get caught with in the middle of his latest murder, but the puns of his tormentor just goes to show death has a sense of humor.
Feel like maybe his afterlife judge wasn't Egyptian, but Greek. Cause leave it to Hades and Persphone to come up with a creative judgment for such a twisted soul XD
Oh how exciting. I went to mortuary school, and was a crematory operator for quite a while. I am THRILLED to listen to this

Dear Doctor, another wonderful unique choice of background for tonights tale. You have a good eye when it comes to matching backgrounds to stories. I wonder what the story is behind this location. So much detail that one can study. I took screenshots and zoomed in and the detail along that lower wall is impressive. There's what looks like a duck on the left and than the tall woman? with umbrellas under her and what appears to be a superhero and a frog man who reminds me of Baron Silas Greenback from Danger Mouse 😂. You definitely get a feel that if you spent too much time at this location your next destination could be one where you meet a mortician. Urban art is impressive and you did it justice!
Quite the complex story to follow tonight. My brain was working overtime on this one after hearing who would think to look for a corpse among corpses except the 5 urns of his pets - nice touch😮! The ashes of previous visitors remaining and accompanying future cremations is something I've actually given thought to. Dr. Bob reminds me of a childhood dentist I had who scared the bejeezus out of me but who my mother trusted eventhough he seemed to enjoy the pain I experienced.
Wonderful surprise ending! Imagine getting stuck with someones ashes who always annoyed you and they infiltrate their way into your afterlife 😖
I know it's impossible but what I wouldnt give to listen to you read one of Colin Wilson's works like The Philosphers Stone, The Mind Parasites or The Personality Surgeon. Oh well, a man can dream😇☻️

Liked this one very much. The end, I like how is biggest problem was the fact that he wasn't alone in his ern and my biggest fear was similar to what he was saying about rotting away in your body comma that when you die your consciousness still remains behind your body just dies and you're just trapped riding away forever never being able to move or do anything fully aware consciously your hearing vision everything over time but still your consciousness still stays alive . That would be torture

It's been quite a while since I read anything about ancient Egyptian beliefs, but was that part of the soul called "Ka?" I thinks so. I think the only way to be a healthy mortician is to possess a good sense of humor, but that's just my opinion. Really, humor is important in any profession, because if you can laugh in the face of entropy and chaos, then you can accept and overcome any adversity. I hope you have a lovely day, Dr. Creepen.
P.S. I love it when you leave in the little mistakes and I can hear you snapping your fingers to refocus and continue the story.

Simplicity is beauty. But we prefer the simple box because it isn’t gonna smoke nearly as bad once it ignites. Also helps the cooking process. Caskets take longer to burn, make your ashes a SUPER UGLY COLOR, and has the potential to black smoke out the top of the machine.

Ehhh, what’s up Doc? I’m sorry to say that I’ve never sat back relaxed and had my favorite drink while listening to the good doctor. In fact, I do the opposite. When I go for my morning run. The doctor makes it very easy for the miles to pass quickly and less painfully. Thanks for another good story Doc.
PS, the small mistakes Doc leaves in add to his particular story telling style. Like when he snaps repeatedly after a vocal accident. It adds a bit of humility, humor & humanity.

Friend of mine in college was studying some subject that involved cadaver labs. One day, she was back REALLY early. Said they had been working on new cadavers for about 15 minutes when a girl across the lab suddenly screamed and became inconsolable. Turned out something on the cadaver was familiar to her. She checked the toe tag, ripped the towel off the face, and there was the uncle she didn't even know had died. The lab came to an abrupt halt for the day."

What’s with the snapping and repeating of the line? It’s happened twice so far.
I believe the snapping is a marker to edit the audio (after a mistake is made). I'm not sure why it's not been edited out.. Maybe he's got a lot on at the moment.

Focus on the start - where he explains that he has 5 urns on his mantle and explains them away as they were his pets but obviously they are victims of people he murdered. He's a murderer, and as he said who better to commit murder than one who works with corpses and has corpses around. Who would question him? Yet the evidence is in those 5 urns on his mantle.
