I have to say this is a wonderfully well written creepy story but what makes it better is it's read by my favorite narrator. I can think of no better way to spend a rainy humid evening at work. Just wish I could come across some buried gold.

So the mention of treasure is a real thing. Across the southern swamps of Louisiana and Texas there are tales of a pirate, John LaFitte, stored away his loot in the swamps. One such location that’s been searched a lot was in Sabine Pass Texas.

@@johannesstephanusroos4969 yep. All down the coast to Corpus Christi. I live on the border of Louisiana and Texas. Lived on the bayou and swamps here all my life. Houston is actually built on marsh and swamp land. It’s why it floods all the time.

@@johannesstephanusroos4969Texas is pretty unique. We got all that in central, south and west Texas, but the east side and the coast is much much greener with vast pine forests in east Texas. We just about have every biome except snowy mountains.

The two main characters are supposed to be kids, their cussing is really unnecessary and making the story bad ( there’s more cussing than there actually is of the story) They were supposedly able to even cuss in front of their elderly aunt with no issues as well? Yeah, no thanks

I like decent stories, When a person uses more cuss words than what they use regular words to tell a story, it’s no longer a story, it’s trash. More so, I like listening to something that’s better than and more realistic than children acting belligerent for no reason as it’s asinine and a waste of my time.
