Great video. Don’t hate on those flux core welds, they look fine. Finally someone smart enough to do a test drive and drive it “normal”, not WOT . Thx
thanks man, appreciate it.
I really appreciate you giving us a teaser at the intro.
Straight to the point type of video man awesome !
Very nice and get a damn reciprocating saw man. Makes that cutting job 100x easier and safer. :)
All my tools were at work lol. I cut with a grinder all the damn time, I guess that’s why it was the weapon of choice XD. That weld life
Nice video thanks! How many miles so far? Any problems?
Nah she’s mint sir, had a issue with my front left ball joint but that cause she got crushed by a mechanic.
You do good work brother. Sounds good
thanks man, i got a lot of projects so ill have to keep it up
Had same thing on my 07 chevy and sounded amazing might do same to my 2022 f150
Nice video getting mine done Monday
Need more videos of exhaust brotha, sounds great
Do you still like it after a year later.
It’s not obnoxiously loud right.
How is the drone cruising at like highway speeds?
Thanks
I couldn’t recommend it enough, I love it! It sounds good when you want it to and it’s not annoying at all, i think even on the highway it’s not bad! I didn’t realize how good it sounded until I let someone else drive off in the truck. For the money 100% can’t beat it.
Sounds preety awesome man, ima try this on my f150 this weekend, 👊😎
Get er done 💪🏼
Just saying you need to buy a reciprocating saw. Works a lot better on pipe and safer
Why chop it up like that when it can be taken off with by loosening a bolt and removing it from the hangers
Thanks for sharing, was debating muffler or resonator delete, bu t i like this better, will do mine same , appreciate it.
Aight youre two years in. Do you regret it or would you do it again?
Would do it again, doing it to a buddy’s truck soon
Good job, bit raspy on the sound. As long as you n the little gal like it, that's all that counts.
Imagine your neighbors might not care for an early morning 5.0l wakeup call. lol
They have no choice but to love my -20 degree 5.0 cold starts now lol
@@RyanBodensame exact thing, they’re nice people but hey oh well.
Do you get any change in gas MPG? Curious if the muffler has a bit of a restriction
Did you lose any power due to the muffle delete?
Any chance you can add what materials I need to order?
Did this void your warranty?
Per federal law it can't. Only the parts he touched it can.
4:48 i felt the burn
So how’s been your mpg after muffler delete?
I guess 13 mpg on 3.73 gearing, I’m from canada so it’s L/100km but I think that would be the conversion. But I’m also on a 4” lift with 35” tires
So I'm from the motorcycle world. If you do certain changes in exhaust, you have to re-tune it or you'll run lean (or rich, can't remember which way it goes). So, for these trucks, can you just do this and not tune anything? Just change the exhaust up as you want and then run it just fine?
Im more into the bike scene too, I believe it’s the same, if your just running an exhaust then it’s fine, but if your letting way more airflow the the motor was tuned for then for sure you need to tune. I believe it’s the same idea.
If you do just a exhaust typically your fine, once you have a new air filter or intake, chances are your running lean because your motors taking in more air then before.
@@RyanBoden awesome, thanks!
A motorcycle is far less forgiving when you start messing with exhaust due to loss of back pressure etc.
Engine is only going breath as fast as the Throttle Body Can Handle.
Removing stock cold air would just make the engine sound louder removing pipe and air boxes.

What song is playing in the background at 644
Gave it all I got by Kodak black slowed + reverb no lyrics
Is it not to loud on cold starts? Looking to do this on my truck
Personally I think it’s enough to put a smile on your face in the morning from inside the house, but not enough for your neighbour to hate you.
Where did you pick up the straight pipes ?
I got the 3” tubing Ans fittings from Canadian tire.
Debating on muffler delete vs flow master 40 ..any advice?
I get a lot of compliments on the sound of the muffler delete, everyone always asks me “what exhaust did you do?” I laugh and tell them I just cut out my muffler .
Honestly man if you don’t own a welder or cutting tools then I’d say go for the FM 40 because it’s simple and you’ll spend less time. Bolts out then bolt on. If you have time to burn and tools then do the muffler delete.
As for sound I cannot speak on the FM 40 because I have never heard one.
The muffler delete with resonator still on doesn’t drone much at all in the cab and you still hear the exhaust tone from inside the cab.
How ever if you are outside the truck it sounds amazing. I thought I needed to make it louder till I had someone drive my truck and listened as they drove it around.
Again if no tools contact an exhaust shop and see what they would charge you for a muffler delete vs Fm 40 Ans make your choice from there.
Good luck with your decision hope I could be some help for you.
@@RyanBoden I did this within 2 months of having my 2021 5.0, same thing, multiple people asking what exhaust I have. Cylinder deactivation makes it sound like an exhaust brake or something when it’s running though
Honestly how is it when it drops into v4 mode?
its okay if you have stock wheels and tires but i have 12'' wides35s and a 4'' lift so she kinda feels it on highway. it kicks in then needs to switch back all too often. I need to stop that feature. As for sound ,it just sounds slighly deeper and and like half ur motor just turned off lol
How does it sound in v4 mode?
In what😂
@@antoniocoleman8380 cylinder deactivation lol
V4 mode baby
It sounds weird I know cause I did the same thing. Just drive in sport mode or tow and haul and it turns cylinder deactivation off.
Do you notice any drone?
No man, it’s pretty quiet inside the cab honestly . something with the news truck they isolate noise pretty good. I thought it needed to be louder till I watched someone else drive my truck.
@@RyanBoden haha ok. I have a 2019 5.0 with just a muffler swap with a Carven TR muffler, it sounds really good but I’d honestly like it do be louder. I just don’t want it ringing in my ears on long drives, mine now has no drone
Inexperienced.
Welds are shit I don’t give af..😂😂😂
No seat belt.
Idiots die every day.
Less traffic for me.
Rubbish truck.
Keep waisting money.
Will do
