I love watching the random office workers walking in the background. Not aware that the F**king! Pixies! are playing one of the best renditions of one of the best songs ever through that window.
It's a surprise and shame they parted ways before this 2024 tour started. She brought a nice touch to the vocals and her bass playing was fine. Not as heavy as Kim Deal, but fine. I've seen them with her (2022 tour in Philly at the Met) and without (2024 gig at the Mann) and the Mann show was better, but I think that was more the venue (sound is way better at the Mann). They ended the Mann show with this song. GREAT way to close the show...good vibes to end it and head for the car.
They closed their Philadelphia show at the Mann Performing arts center with this song the last time we saw them in 2024. Great send off to a fabulous night...sadly Paz wasn't in the band anymore, but the new bassist was great too. Not sure what happened there, but she was in the band a long time.
