I was pre-diabetic but brought my A1C back to normal with Metformin and lifestyle changes, yet I do want to get off of Metformin asap and love your food ideas. Thank-you for making these tips sooo simple, so healthy & timely, and so do-able!! I'll be a new follower now!! ❤
Wasn't this video just great? I am working hard on my A1C. I am finally back into prediabetic range, and have hit a huge stall. I am going to have to shake things up, vary my exercises, add some new foods, etc. It is great that you are down to only Metformin. Imagine being off everything? What an amazing achievement that would be!
Love your idea of adding the cottage cheese to your taco meat! FYI, I add a 1/2c of it to my protein smoothies….you really don’t taste it but it adds that additional protein and gives a great texture addition to your smoothie

Good suggestions. It's a bummer that AG-1 and great supplements like it are unaffordable for some of us. Would totally use it but I can't handle 80 bucks a month per person.

I am now stalking the Paleonola, are any of them made without coconut? I know so many products use it for the extra sweetness it brings, but the dang texture just destroys me. The ingredients in the vanilla does not include coconut, just some coconut sugar, which is fine. The picture of the item itself in the bag looks like there are coconut shards! We use so many of the same products! I have never heard of Paleonola! I am working on my A1C and wish I had a Sprouts, HEB, Trader Joe's nearby. I feel like I live in a low carb options food desert! Thanks for this great video, I appreciate the additions to fiber and protein, very SAVVY stuff!

Hey Jamie, i just saw your video for the first time. And I'm now a new subscriber. I'm well over 300 pounds. Although, i did lose 60 pounds. I have severe osteoarthritis in both knees and no cartilage in either one. I also have rickets which have caused my legs to be badly deformed. I have to use a walker and a wheelchair to get around with. I have manic depression. I'm in tears trying to type this. I'm not physically able to cook much. I need something very simple. Where do you get that bread that you were talking about? I'm looking forward to seeing more videos. You are a god send.❤😢

Make your own. Get a meat grinder.
I have fallen in love with ground sirloin 90/10. The flavor is even better than angus, but I am only feeding myself. It could get a bit expensive if you've got a family to feed with it!

Flax seed needs to be fresh ground (use a dedicated coffee grinder), then the extra frozen in a glass container. Otherwise, the oil in the flaxseed will go rancid.

If you don’t do diary, use plain Greek yogurt like Siggi’s in your protein shakes and other recipes in lieu of cottage cheese.
