I LOVE YOURS VIDEOS
You're the truth ! Thanks for sharing your knowledge:) Can you clear something up for me?.....When we are social dancing do we do our shines on the ladies count (going forward on 2)? And is performing the same rule? Thanks:)
Thank you for watching. The answer to your question is not so obvious. It depends on what you plan to dance next.... I usually switch to the ladies count but... not always. There is no strict rule I guess... you need to be able to switch and come back seamlessly and smoothly to pw. On the stage you need to dance to the music first no matter what count you use. Usually guys switch to ladies count to do the shines together and they change it back to mens count to dance in couple. Hope this helps ☺
Thanks so much for taking the time to get back to me , can you confirm what PW stands for ? ( seamlessly and smoothly back to pw) And yes that helps a lot:)
PW =Partner Work ☺ no problem, sir.
Is this on2? I thought on2 is break back on 2 and forward on 6
It is on 2. You break forward on 2 when you dance footwork (usually solo) and you break back when you dance in a couple.
