Whenever I think about this video, I always remember Galactcus in LEGO Marvel Super Heroes going "Om-nom-nom-nom-nom-nom-nom-nom-nom-nom-nom-nom-nom-nom-nom...mmm...delicious!" on the final regular level of the game in its Story Mode.

I remember reading the reprint of this story when I was in in primary school. It was enticing and I never forgot it. A Kirby-Lee classic.
I gotta say, when the Surfer puts it that way, Earth sounds pretty appetizing.

Thanks this helped me get caught up with this story with actually made me feel like I still read it
I've read the original comic, this is pretty much entirely accurate.
Except there's also a bit where Galactus gives the Watcher a piece of his mind for giving an incredibly powerful device like the Ultimate Nullifier to a race of primitives, it's like giving an A-bomb to a chimp. He really dresses him down for it, then agrees to leave Earth alone in exchange for disposing of the device safely. I mean, there's eating planets for a living, and then there's just plain recklessness.
True but the good is that out of all those chimps, Reed Richards wielded it.
It could’ve been worse. The Watcher could’ve given it to a toddler.

If only Marvel could invest in animated shows as good as this. And thats not saying much given the quality of this crap but it sure is deeper and more story driven than the stuff they book nowadays. To think Avengers Earth's Mightiest Heroes and Spectacular Spiderman got replaced by those shows they have going now is beyond me.
Come on, Avengers Assemble is pretty good. I mean atleast the first 2 seasons were, haven't seen much of the others
@@maninthetrenchcoat5603 After the greatness of EMH rich in plot and storytelling and top notch casting it's hard to enjoy shows like Assemble who exist just to promote the MCU. That's why EMH was so great. It wasn't created solely to promote the MCU. It might have started out that way but they made the mistake of hiring top notch writers and actors to the point where it took on a life of it's own.
@@MrWolfchamp-xi3cu Eh, I like the fact it's based on the MCU. It takes the greatness of it but goes above and beyond with what it could've been. I doubt we'll get the Cabal and the Squadron Supreme in the MCU, and what they did with them in Avengers Assemble was pretty cool. The show made me like Falcon, that's hard to do. I haven't seen much of EMH, so I'm not one to judge it. It's just I like Assemble, we both like different iterations of the Avengers and that's fine.
