If I remember right, I think they explained the reason Nick suddenly becomes black is because Nick Fury is a code name not an actual name so you only become Nick Fury when you get that position.
I love how iron man killed one guy and is kicked from the team while frickin' moon knight is still allowed on the avengers.
Idk how much Moon Knight murdered back then, but I feel like Tony is held to a different standard than a guy with Dissociative Identity Disorder. But other than that, its definitely hypocrisy

Probably because the no-kill rule was a thing of the past, but it just vanished in recent years. And moon knight wasn't an Avengers in that years, he became one during Secret Avengers and Steve fired him.
@@someghostinthewild The time of Armor Wars takes place in the 80's, where Moon Knight was part of the West Coast Avengers.The no kill rule was in big effect in that era. In fact, Hawkeye split with his wife because he didn't like that she killed the guy who drugged and raped her, a story that had Moon Knight on the team.
Finally a TLDR just for Ironman.
He's my all time favorite Marvel character.

Titanium Man and Crimson Dynamo are villains to Iron Man, but they're not villains in Russia. They usually work for the Russian government, especially the Crimson Dynamo whose armor is military hardware and is usually worn by a Russian soldier. Titanium Man is a bit more complicated, the original was the Russian soldier Boris Bullski but the one in this story was a super-intelligent mutant known as the Gremlin who was part of the Russian government's super soldier team at the time. Anyway the point is while these guys are only "villains" in that they sometimes fight American super heroes, they're heroes to the Russians and especially the Kremlin who employs them. Sneaking into the country in stealth armor to fight them was already enough for a diplomatic incident but Tony killed one of them.

Noah Jones Firepower was sanctioned by the US government to take down Iron Man. Iron Man beating Firepower is already bad press. Add in also the fact that Firepower was made by stolen Stark tech and that Firepower had attacked some of Stark Industry’s (a legitimate business) shipments. That’s a press nightmare for the people in the White House and the Pentagon. Better let bygones be bygones by then.
If I remember right, Tony Stark claimed that he “fired” Iron Man and hired a new bodyguard to wear the armor.

Just a theory, since Stark is gone, AIM, Hammer Industries, Powerbroker, Valentina Allegra de Fontaine and others will probably steal his tech and it's up to Rhodes to take care of that.
Just in Black Widow, Crimson Dynamo was mentioned by Yelena. Maybe it will be a russian version of Iron Man.

Have you watched Iron Man Armored Adventures? Lots of silver age vibes, tons of classic villains, a lighthearted tone, and a secret identity! It's on Netflix and I assume Disney+.
Didn’t he reveal it before mcu?
natcan17 it's complicated. He's a hero who's had his identity revealed and then somehow undone it a couple times. He permanently revealed it for civil war, which would have been like, 2005 or 2006.
My personal favorite was before that, he literally revealed it just to save a dog. There was a puppy about to be run over by a car, so during an interview with a dozen reporters, he grabs his suitcase-armor and suits up in front of everyone to save it.

I remember reading this series as a Teen (a long, long, long time ago) The Silver Centurion Armor was the coolest of them all, but I suppose nothing sells comics like new duds for a Superhero.

So did everyone just forgive Ironman for killing that villain?
It was an accident. Iron Man was trying to escape while Titanium Man was holding him. Iron Man's jet boots actually ignited the titanium and burned him up. At the time, Tony made it look like he was killed by Firepower and that the new Iron Man was another bodyguard. So society thought justice was served, while the Avengers understood and forgave him.
Now, what happened after Tony revealed himself? Eh, comic books...it's either retconned or just forgotten. Crazy, but that's how the comic book world works.

@@npc6817 he changed from white to black alot he was even a robot at one point if I remember correctly
NPC he was originally white. He was turned black in the transition to the Ultimate Universe, and Samuel L. Jackson noticed how they based his new design on him in particular, so he reserved the right to be the first actor to ever play as him. The Ultimate Nick Fury is now in the regular universe and the Old Nick Fury is the New Watcher and a lot older than previously thought.

I actually really liked that show. It had some weird moments but it was incredibly interesting.

Maybe, maybe not. The Disney+ show already has one major departure from the comics (no Tony), so who knows how many more there'll be.
But, I bet we'll at least see some SHIELD Mandroids.

My bet is that after stark dies due to some reason stealing his tech is either easier or less dangerous since he’s not there to hunt them down, so Rody takes it upon himself to hunt the theirs down. I do expect a lot of low budget iron man’s to show up, along with Hammer.
