    It's a sincere request as there is no proper coverage of MBA in USA for international students. Please cover more videos with Arpit on STEM MBA. For international students, how are the employment opportunities and Visa issues.

    I moved to US for my MBA in 2011 with full scholarship. I agree to the video but whenever moving atleast I can say for MBA in US. Do your calculations of ROI vs Opportunity Cost. MBAs are extremely expensive especially for people migrating from India. Select uni in 3 levels as high, medium and low based on your profile, budget and apply accordingly in all the 3 levels. Usually public uni provides scholarships as they have good funding. Do enough research, speak to alumni, admissions department and network.
    After age of 30yrs and with loads of work ex, i would not suggest MBA. There are too many other course of studies in today’s world to opt in rather MBA.
    Note: Not all MBA specialization is considered as STEM so you get only once for H1B lottery. During my time even with MBA in MIS, it wasn’t considered a STEM.
    Based on today’s market if someone wants to do MBA, look for Uni which has specializations in the latest trends like data science, data analytics, aiml. MBA in finance, marketing etc am not sure how much easy to receive jobs which sponsors H1.

      Own domain is not possible since i am from military, i need to transition, secondly EMBA is out of question due to large amount of money involves and no scholarship.regular MBAs has too much scholarships..moreover for emba one has to be fully working and i cant fly everytime to usa for classes..thats out of my budget

      @@zaheerhasan1811 Many international firms in several countries have an ex-servicemen recruitment quota. See if you can get into one of such firms. After building some experience, you can accordingly take a call. In the meanwhile, better get done with your GRE/GMAT so that you have one less thing to worry about.

    • @cynthiaceil6319
      @cynthiaceil6319 5 месяцев назад +1

      @@zaheerhasan1811 Are you specifically looking for US? What is your long vs short term goal?
      In tech currently its all about data, so if that’s what you want, 3 areas currently booming are : aiml, cloud/edge computing, cybersecurity. Check if any MS/MBA courses in those areas. Cloud certs are from Aws/Azure/GCP. But do your due diligence. Instead of generic MBA look for courses which have your interests and have good job opportunities.
      Many uni sometimes don’t require a GMAT and only GRE suffices. So verify. Contact US uni admissions department they are always very active. Check their class profiles and ask for job status of students who graduated in last 5-7yrs. In US, we don’t have college hire for FT jobs. You need to apply separately from LI, org career websites, Indeed, Dice, networking etc
      Do enough research in which field you want to get in.

    I completely disagree with Arpit on the fact that GMAT is like a rank for IITJEE. I worked in the admissions committee at one of the Ivy League business schools. Out of the 8 criteria that we used to evaluate an application, GMAT was the least important.
    Number one was essay, number two was interview, three was work experience/resume, four was undergrad transcripts, five was undergrad university, six was letter of recommendation, seven was GMAT score, eight was TOEFL score.
    We ALWAYS looked at the holistic application. But for Indian students, GMAT scores are usually 20-30 points above average. I have seen Indian students get into Kellogg with a 650 GMAT
