If any of you are planning to study in any European country, please keep in mind that you NEED to learn the local language to increase the number of job opportunities that you have. English is not sufficient anymore. Not everyone can get into a FAANG or an international company. Make language your priority and get to B1/B2 level. Your chances to land a job will improve 10 fold. Good luck!

Great video. Liked the honesty but a few points from my own perspective. I’m a highly skilled professional with 3 degrees and a master’s from Germany. I can speak German to an extent and my English is very good too. However, I chose to leave Germany soon after my German boss told me that no matter how good I am and no matter how well I do, I can never expect promotions and a career graph like the locals. I will never be a partner in my firm or an MD. I may get my German citizenship too but I will always be an outsider. If you’re ambitious and want to make it really big financially and otherwise, returning to India is a better bet or going to cities like London / Singapore / Hong Kong / New York / Dubai where they don’t care who you are but only about the quality of your work. Europe is not going to open up to the extent we believe. They will always retain the best jobs for their own talent. As immigration increases and especially illegal immigration, they’ll become more conservative.
@@diglettfire Exactly. Plus people don’t realize that racism is a very real thing. Especially covert racism which you will face every single day. Even when you assimilate and accept their culture (which you should if you want to live there), the larger society will end up clubbing you with those migrants who do not. Europe is conservative and those people denying this fact are deluding themselves. If you’re sure you want to migrate, be aware that the world is changing rapidly and not necessarily becoming more welcoming.
@@riderchallenge4250 of course but most people who go there to study go there with the intention to stay on. That’s when things become an issue. It’s best you go there (or anywhere in the world) knowing your options and the reality.

For someone who has finished their master's and is now working in Netherlands. It may seem the best place in terms of salary, work/life and culture, getting a job here is not easy in any way. Most expats try to find a job in Amsterdam and that's what they consider "Netherlands" to be. Because of this the job market is saturated and ultimately, it's even harder to get a job. Added to this, the on-going housing crisis (unaffordable rents).

It would be helpful if you can make such videos regarding fields other than CS/ engineering, like Business, Law, Medicine, General sciences, etc, in these European countries.
There is oversupply of computer science students. India is better than Italy because lot of outsourcing jobs to India. Italy better for tourism business. Problem is getting visa everywhere.

The problem with the 2nd guy studying MBA at Sapienza is that it's a wrong choice. Commenting from UK on student visa - majority of students go back to their country from UK. Those who stay work in part or full time in stores after doing masters for Rs 40 lakhs…you will be lucky if you do not cone to UK Canada or Aus on student visa….Do not get blown away with foreign tag….It is a lot tough when you have to pay loans and you are unable to earn. getting a job is really tough…maximum students are unemployed and thus go back… Thoda dimmag lagao and do not waste your money…I know many students from LSE, Kings college, Warwick, Imperial and Manchester who could not find a job for 6 months in UK…you will be foolish if you take a loan only to find out that there are no jobs here…I can guarantee that more than 80 prct fresh international graduates from university of Manchesterr are unemployed in UK and are going back in 2024. Universities just want your money. Atleast in India there is a concept of placement cells in universities….No Indian will take admission in any UK university if they publish their performance in employment after studies. maximum students are working in stores for £25,000 (hardly any saving due to high cost of living) after paying £40,000 in fee😢

My friends son did his M tech (Mech) from Sapienza uni on scholarship. His reason for choosing Italy was the no cost education. He took almost 3 yrs to complete the course. Could not find any part time jobs . He returned to India in 2023 with a PG degree and no skills. He tried with some job seekers visa in a European country and returned back without getting job there. He is almost 30 and working in a small organisation in Bangalore in a non connected job earning minimum wages. I feel very sorry for him. He has passed 5 years of his life for a PG degree. It’s not possible to learn a language if you go abroad just for a masters no matter how hard you try (I did my masters from France as well). But here in Italy... difficulty is on another level...rank holders with gold medal is getting washed out.in all subjects ..the moto is try try try until you pass by hook or crook. that's why they call you doctor if you complete your masters degree.
Indian universities have an anonymous system (seat numbers only). That's not so in Italy, the professors will discriminate against you based on your name in the answer sheet. Most exams are also purely oral, and held by the professors in front of all the other students who have registered for the exam that day. Italian professors won't hesitate to humiliate you before all these other students if you give the wrong answer.

Thanks for sharing

Europe is conservative and those people denying this fact are deluding themselves.

The problem with the 2nd guy studying MBA at Sapienza is that it's a wrong choice. University ranking can be high but for MBA or Management, there are dedicated business schools SDA Bocconi, Luiss, Polimi, etc. One should never go to technical universities to study finance or management. Universities just want your money. Atleast in India there is a concept of placement cells in universities….No Indian will take admission in any UK university if they publish their performance in employment after studies. maximum students are working in stores for £25,000 (hardly any saving due to high cost of living) after paying £40,000 in fee😢

Indian universities have an anonymous system (seat numbers only). That's not so in Italy, the professors will discriminate against you based on your name in the answer sheet.
