Some points to note here mate. The tank was fully operational and not simply relegated to storage until at least the 80's. My friends dad was working on and firing this tank as a gunner during the 80's. Working next to it every day in his tank squadron shed.........He currently has health issues and he says something like 12 of the previous 18 crew had Cancer. Poor guys just so the Army could save some $$ by not throwing it out. Also its at Edinburgh in Adelaide :)
