Bob, listen, my wife was on dialysis for 21 years and recently got a kidney transplant. Do yourself the biggest favor and ask your doctor and dialysis center about a nightly home hemodialysis program. The dialysis is slower and happens while you sleep so it is gentler on your body and more thorough. My wife felt better than she did with in-center dialysis and had fewer dietary and fluid restrictions. My wife says that while the nightly home hemodialysis program is not as good as a real kidney, it’s as close as you can get with the machine. Take care my friend and God bless you.

My friend was on dialysis 3 days a week at 40 and an angel blessed his life with a kidney. He has struggled with possible rejection but has fought through it. He is home now with his wife and kids and doing well. Hope is there man, keep the faith 🙏

Outdoor chef life, Could you make a vid to help him find a donor? We have to get this vid in front of as many eyes as possible.
My son is 36 and was diagnosed at age 28. He is on home dialysis 7 days a week 8 hours each. He is not eligible for a kidney transplant at this time but is working. We will be praying for you to receive a kidney donor. God will take care of you and God bless you and your family.

My dad had the same condition, please hang in there, he was in his 80's when it happened to him and he pulled through, so don't give up!
I was a donor at the age of 25yo. Im now 57yo. My life never really changed. I have always been able to function like I always did. All I can do is encourage ppl to donate, your life won't change, but you will save a life! Plz consider this man. Loves and hugs mate!

Good stuff, I'm just a year out from donating mine and it has been a shockingly easy process. If there's anyone out there that has a heart to do this, I would say that its far easier than you might think it could possibly be.

Yeah,i just remeber that yt can loop videos so i just put this one on loop for 7 hours straight. I stopped it 'cause i don't know if yt cancel the views but i'll put it a few hours everyday to help the video spreading. Stay strong Bob

I’ve struggled with mental Illness most of my life and I often isolate myself but your videos have inspired me to get out of the house and connect with nature. I hope your physicians discussed the “paired exchange” option whereby if you have a loved one willing to donate a kidney but they are a poor match, there are programs that will find a matched kidney and swap it for another patient who has a donor who also is a match. Some times this can involve quite the number of swaps… but it drastically increases your chances. Your best bet for getting a live donor is a loved one who is willing. Worth looking into paired exchange if that loved one isn’t a match. I also hope your physicians discussed peritoneal dialysis… if you are a candidate. Can be way more convenient if you live a long way from a hemodialysis unit. All the best.

Thoughts and prayers for you brother. My mother in law was on dialysis for several years and it was rough. She finally got a kidney donor and life got much better after that. Hang in there man.

Hey Bob! Congrats on the opportunity for a transplant. I used to do dialysis transfers and I did notice a few young people that would go get dialysis. This is not the end! You can live a good life even if you have to get dialysis 3 times a week. My best wishes for you and your family once the transplant happens! Here's to better times for you!

Bob. Sorry for you to receive this awful news but it's not aa hopeless with the technology we have today.. If you are unable to find a living donor please don't rule out a deceased kidney donor. I will be 73 next month and was on the transplant for 7 years when I finally got the call that a deceased donor kidney was a perfect match for me..This November will be 3 yrs since receiving
this Gift of Life. Three people got that call. Two of us got new kidneys & the other one got a new liver & we all are doing great. I pray that you will have your Blessing soon. Just don't give up hope & continue on your road to new life!

Its awesome to see that there are some people in the comments who are willing to get tested to see if they match for becoming a potential donor. I sure hope that of of them do and pray for a speedy recovery as well. Also, the 1 person who put a thumbs down should be very ashamed of themselves.

God bless you Bob. My aunt had the first kidney transplant ever done in Lexington Kentucky 50 years ago! That kidney gave her 50 beautiful years until she passed a few months ago. Your story is very close to my heart.

I have not watched your videos before today. The Wooded Beardsman sent his Channel over here to give you some love. I had a Liver Transplant in 2002 at the age of 25. I am a disabled Air Force Vet and because of that I live vicariously through all of you youtube hunter, fisher, campers, travelers. I will run your videos to help a little with adrev. Stay strong don't give up NO MATTER WHAT. Dialysis Sucks, It takes forever and it stinks. But it is what keeps us alive for the most part. prayers going to you and yours.

My Dad had dialysis for 14 yrs. He was the strongest man I know. He never complained to us. I know he was in pain every day. God Bless you keep fighting the lord is with you🙏🏻💙
