TT also made fully Lego world games with the Lego Movie 1, 2 & Ninjago
It's looking like it will fare much better than Lego Star Wars did on Switch, ironically enough
I am more surprised PlayStation hasn't released a PS5 version of Horizon Zero Dawn. Anyway, this game is likely going to have a noticeable drop in visual quality on the Switch but I'm pretty sure that the game will look good enough and most importantly run at a more stable frame rate. This game is going to look good enough on the Switch. I would be surprised if they later port over Horizon Zero Dawn and Horizon Forbidden West on the Switch.
They definitely won't port the main games to Switch
A Zero Dawn remaster/remake is heavily rumoured to be in the works
Some rumours says they are remastering Horizon zero dawn for the ps5 but well, they are just rumours
@@Polengue I'm going to wait for the remastered re-edited, remade, directors super extended cut plus version.
@@MichaelM28that's been rumoured for a long time now, I would have expected it to be revealed by now if it was true. Maybe they've delayed it for the PS5 Pro?
Cant wait to play this on Switch OLED. The colors in the game look just beautiful.
Yes it can, they’ll just tune down/ substitute post effects, etc. these Lego games scale pretty well. I can imagine lighting and reflections etc will require some creative solutions to have analogous effects across both in some cases but with the right effort and experienced people it should be possible.
I’ll admit it though, we are past the “red line” of ports like this needing TITANFALL on the Xbox 360 levels of customisation to work properly.
The dying years of popular consoles…the *one* place where ports can still get buckwild.
No, it really can't. Even the best looking games, those like Tears of the Kingdom, run at like 720-900p 20fps and that's at lower graphical fidelity.
A Switch game at 720p 30fps low, on a PS5 would run at 4K 60fps High. The difference is enormous.
@@Patrick-y4d1z mate, it can still pull off a Lego game.
Even with all those careful tweaks it'll still run at a much lower resolution and frame-rate than PS5
@@Patrick-y4d1zPretty sure Tears of the Kingdom is 480p
@@MichaelM28 yeh that’s par for the course at this point mate. Sorry I thought the resolution changes etc were obvious and a given at this point and we were talking about everything else. At best we’ll be at 480p-720p in areas while handheld/docked.
You guys have played a Lego game before right? 😅 Ill admit the new one looks a lot better then usual and finally using all lego instead of lazy crap but i mean it looks like PS3 game with shiny next gen effects so i mean drop most of the effects and resolution and there you go really pretty similar to what they did with some of there mobile versions obviously just the whole game
lego horizon? lol pretty funny
I love this kind of game! I really hope it gets an xbox release in a few years. It will be an instant buy for me!
You chose the worst platform if you love those kind of games. lol
@@seanmcbay I think you might be right
The best thing about this game is that it's not coming to xbox 😅
Still attention seeking with your various accounts kid 😂
@@mikeuk666 Still crying over having no games to play kid 😂
@@MichaelM28just one game, I don't know why, I bought a ps5 with no games to buy
Switch is legend.
Looks flat/dry in comparsion
The real comparison will be the sales of it on each platform. I’m betting the Switch version will win that contest.
Lego games typically appeal to kids and family play which is Nintendo target audience....if a Lego game doesn't sell better on Nintendo platform then I'd be much more worried about it.
Is this using UE5 on Switch? If so with nanite?
It's an UE5 game. Nanite IS a main feature of UE5, but maybe disable of actual Switch
Ofcourse it will run fine it’s a cartoon kids Lego game 😂 not like they are pushing state of the art motion capture or animations of real life looking models…
Gaming PC + Nintendo Switch is the best & most logical combination.
Gaming PC + emulator is the best & most logical combination.
@@alumlovescakeTrue, consoles are kinda useless these days if you own a good pc. Exclusives from Xbox and PS are all coming to PC anyway.
Uh no
Gaming PC + Steam Deck is the best and most logical combination
@@Zinkolo
Actually, the best and most logical solution is an ASUS ROG Ally X & eGPU dock.
@@ZinkoloYeah , this is what i'm waiting for , playing all those shiny High End PC Games on a Small Screen ......not !
Not really, not even close.
@AxisTarantino Let me guess, you're a 'mature' gamer.
Close enough.
Industry plant game
What???
@@MichaelM28something about him having a small 🍆

Hello NPC
Please elaborate
@@zabrak999 You're the NPC sprouting catchphrases and memes mindlessly.
The only downgrade will be loading times
And resolution, and frame-rate and probably textures
@@MichaelM28which will make no difference as long as it is a stable 30fps
If you only play on switch your brain gets used to framerates around 30 just like all the movies you watch run at 24fps... your brain ignores it as it always sees them at 24fps.
The Switch is not even as powerful as a PS3 how can you even compare it to the PS5? Even the Vita had more technically impressive showings with Killzone Mercenary, Wipeout 2048, Uncharted Golden Abyss, Dynasty Warriors, Sly Cooper Collection, Muramasa Rebirth, Dragon's Crown, Odin's Spear, Super Stardust Delta, Velocity 2X, list goes on. From a raw tech analysis the Switch is about on par with a PS2.5 which is as powerful as a WiiU
It's way above PS3 lmao... It's below PS4 though despite coming 3 years after
Switch has been around for more than 7 years and you still don't know that it is more powerful than a PS3? You have missed all those Digital Foundry episodes where they say the same? Were you hiding in a cave those past 7 years and you just came out?
You don't know what you're talking about at all.
Typical Sony marketing victim.
I'm sorry for you.
@@clapiotis having only more RAM than the PS3 does not make it more powerful overall. This is common sense. You have to consider all the components. The Cell alone destroys the switch's entire APU. Why havent we seen a switch game as impressive as GoW 3 or Uncharted 3 or Wipeout HD or the Ratchet & Clank ToD and ACiT?
