I feel like in a time when athletes are no longer good role models Max just might be the last of them. If for no other reason than he is real as can be. I was at UFC 300 and had the best night of my life. Jesse on fire did tell people to go as a group and I went alone sitting at the second level in the middle first row. That's my spot perfect seat to see everything. No matter what angle something happens that I will see it perfectly from there.

max still fighting at 145 is wild, he's clearly gotten a lot bigger and better KO power over time. especially since his Volk rivalry. i think he's got a good shot at knocking Ilia out, we've seemed him get clipped by worse strikers before

Max is really hard to take down. 88% takedown defense. I think Ilia would do better trying to use his wrestling to put Max against the fence and try to land power punches. I don't think he will. I think he's going to try to walk Max down and get picked apart.
