    His pants fit tighter than the tools in the foam.

    I'm actually in the market for a new tool box for work and this is pretty much the ideal size! The only two draw backs that I'm seeing is that there isn't a optional hutch and there isn't a power strip option on the box itself. I need that for additional storage for a PC and monitor due to tight work spaces.

    As a total novice, this is the most professional tool setup I have seen, but who can afford it? I imagine top racing teams using this and very high level in-house mechanics/technicians/engineers for the biggest auto manufactures.

      I thought the same but you know what its way better priced than the tool trucks i did a lil price comparison.

      I’m a college student studying automotive restoration and I got a 35% discount from the company and saved 6,000!!. Have it in for my own shop and I absolutely love the tools

      @@alc156 this toolbox is around 18,000. The same tools and toolbox from a company like Snap On, Matco, or Mac tools would cost you 30-40k

      Under 20k ain't too bad tbh but as an aviation mechanic we get paid a little more so this is well affordable for us for how much shit there is and probably don't even need half of this

      @@CptPandy-tj9ty I’m with you I work on big fleet vehicles and equipment. I really don’t think I’ll use half of these tools. I do like buying things in full sets. which bigger companies like snap on, Mac, matco. Like to skip out on a size here and there. I like the foam makes everything look really nice and organized but also wastes a lot of space IMO.

    Very nice setup but believe instead of having two very similar length ratchets in the 3/8 and 1/2 one of each should be a medium to long handle just my personal opinion if I can fit it I grab a mid length flex head most of the time… also the foam is beautiful but also leave almost no room for growth… I take that last bit back quite a bit to grow but with all the organized foam unless you buy sonic I feel they would be out of place but it’s overall one of the most extensive turn key hand tool kits I’ve seen between you and teng is hard to say.. leave room for more ratchets and for more power tools and air tools then it’s right one the money

    I will need some tools when I get my 2nd condo, especially in need of car lifts 2 possibly 4. Either way I will need some new tools.
    I do have a question? Why you/your tools over Snap-On, and other like brands? TY for your time !

    Starting at $15k to $20k. This not a veteran mechanics tool set. This is designed for the guy that just graduated school and is ready to enter the world to start his/her career and hasn't gotten tools yet..id buy this if i was 25years younger and just starting out.

    All you guys might as well start with Teng Tool they are a lot cheaper and they have finance available too, I got my setup 5,400$ with 344$ per month and I alrdy finished paying off, it might not as good as these but it still as nice setup as these

      This box is like the porsche of toolboxes, It's the stuff of wet dreams!
      There're thousands of other boxes out there but they aint sonic. And if you've been wrenching long enough, you can put together a pretty cheap frankenstein set up, but nothing will ever beat having all matching tools neatly arranged in the toolbox. You even look forward to wrenching😊

    I have to say that is the worst tool layout I've seen on a modern toolbox with deeper top drawer.

    • @Grabarz23
      @Grabarz23 2 года назад +3

      You know that you can re arrange foams placement to your liking right?
      And remember Sonic tools are Dutch company, in Europe big, deep drawers are uncommon since we believe that is better to have tools organized by your anvil size (look drawers 1/4, 3/8, 1/2) than all sockets in one drawer. Yeah i agree that SAE foams at the top are khm just like someone forced them to be... there are some empty spaces since not all foams are made specific to this toolbox, some of the tools are duplicated but overall is big nice setup which covers 90% of your needs
