Secret? Most people know if read packaging about soaking in cold water. The word secret is abused a lot here . All these tips are known to most people who have tried to cook Asian food

I get what you’re saying. I actually did come across a package that did not say to soak though . It was macaroni made from rice flour. It took almost an hr to boil to soften 😭 I should’ve went with my instincts . It wasn’t the traditional wheat style macaroni . It was macaroni from the Asian store made in China so it didn’t have that part of the directions on the packaging
