You guys struggled somewhat in the snow, but your snow riding is 10x better than mine! I'm a complete disaster in snow! My excuse is that in my part of SC, USA, snow is rare, so I don't get many opportunities to practice. I marvel at how smoothly the Stockholm guys plow through the snow, which I attribute to their determination and abundant practice opportunities!
That was a knarley euc crash from Adam. A worry that I didn’t see was that euc probably hit a car. Speed wobbles happen to everyone at a point in time. I survived one two days ago by hunching down and grabbing the euc between my legs and slowing down, not sure what the best method is but worked for me. I’ll never forget the experience. Beautiful mount laguna ride tho, hard to believe that SoCal has such a place to go. Your rides are blessed.
Thanks for taking me with you, on another great ride Marty. I viewed this trip as if I'm with you again, via my 50" TV. We haven't had any snow here (just North of Charlotte, NC) so far this season. We were supposed to get it on Friday night, but it only rained. I was wondering how well (not) that EUCs could handle snow. Seeing you gave answer to my thought.
😉 Marty!, What you doing on the sherman again, we all over here waiting for you to do in-depth review on the begode EX brotha! We didn't say nothing when you came out on kingdom S18 long ride...... Marty c'mon bro,....... EX!, EX!, EX! suspension review PLEASE!😁👍
at 19:13 , this is an epic beautiful scene of acceptance , it's heartwarming , if races and religions could do the same the world would be such a better place , I know some people will think it's a bit cheesy but i was very touched by that ✊☮
Sitting down actually negates wobbles, that’s why I am constantly switching between standing and sitting. But, you gotta literally sit the moment they start. However, there are times when you are just “riding the bull” and all you can do is hold on and pray....lol Glad Flyboy is alright, though. 🤠👍
Yeah, whenever I feel a little bit wobbly and I'm on a wheel with a seat, I sit. NEVER experience wobbles while seated. But if they come on quick you're in for the ride :-)
I think it is wise to ride with caution on a new wheel. Experience on one wheel does not necessarily transfer to ability on another. edit: even with sluggish snow areas - looked like a pretty spectacular day!
Enjoyed that Marty. Can I ask, being a biker I noticed that you have a Keiga rucksack on. I wonder if you could possibly tell me the model (if it is a R35 etc) and if you’d be ever so good, if you could tell me if your M-Ten 3 fits in 🤔😁 Thanks in advance Richard
It's the R25. I think it "might" fit but I wouldn't want to wager on it. I can't test it because I have trolley handles installed on my Mten3's and they certainly won't fit with the handles. I think it's a safe bet that the R35 would accommodate an Mten3. I know people like the idea of carrying around an Mten3 but that can get heavy fast. And you need to add some special padding to keep the hard points of the Mten3 from digging into your back.
Marty what are your thoughts on tying your euc to your waist via bungee cord. Seems to be a common practice in the EU. The idea seems crazy to me if you have a 70 pound wheel but hitting a pedestrian would be a lot worst.
Actually, it's not a common practice from what I've seen over the years. I've never personally met someone who does this, I've only seen a few people online do it. As you say, the last thing I want is to be tied to my heavy wheel. Some people are paranoid about loosing control of their wheel but I've never seen this to be a real issue in all the riding that I've done. I never recommend that people do it.
his ankle also could've been mangled on the pedals. I'm seeing alot of this lately... armored boots protect against this. The more U go moto speeds, the more u need moto gear
Marty do you miss the suspension of the S18/V11 after a long ride? Not that they have this kind of range but purely in terms of how hard it is on your feet/knees/back how does the Veteran compare?
I love suspension wheels. I still believe they are the future for most wheels but it's going to take a few more years to work out the kinks. I particularly like the S18. It doesn't help me regards the feet or back, but it's a gamechanger for the knees.
No. I'm probably not going to either since I tend not to update the firmware "just because". The existing pedal dip doesn't really bother me (I'm used to it from Gotway wheels).
Right shoe came off in the crash.....No protection from serious and permanent feet/ankle damage. What if the Sherman hits a really expensive car or a person? Is there insurance that covers damage to property and injury to persons? Phone kept in back pocket could get destroyed if bailing from wobbles. The Sherman's bar really seems to work and protect the case in a high speed crash. Home made roll bars (attached with flimsy screws/clamps to plastic casing or attached with velcro) made and sold by some youtubers for a quick buck, should probably be avoided. Dangerous, unsafe products made by unqualified persons with no technical knowledge. Unregulated, not compliant to any standards, no safety certifications. A modification not part of the original design or product. What next? Are there going to be home made motorcycle helmets being sold next? Great vid, very interesting, look forward to the next ones, thanks.
@@ElectricUnicycles Yes, probably right, a person's personality traits are probably ingrained and resistant to change. Really glad you bought a Sherman and can make these great adventure vids for everyone. Thanks.
I leave this under every video I watch that I enjoy,it stays in my clipboard, it helps the algorithm.
glad flyboy survived that! thanks for the video.
It was fun :-)

Beautifull and refreshing
You really are lucky to live in such a beautiful place
What a beautiful scenery/trip! Dig the music as well. Thanks for sharing!

Wet snow is so much more slippery, I'm surprised you tried to ride in that stuff at all.
Unfortunately by the time we encountered the snow we had no choice. Our destination was on the other side of the snow.
We have "this stuff" 4-5 mths. 👍
LOL
Heated vest! The 40s, oh no! 😂

@@ElectricUnicycles I was too, Santa Barbarian😂, Utah has toughened me up.

Need boots on that won't flyoff in a crash. Your feet could get scraped up bailing like that on asphalt. like a motorcycle accident.
