Happy riding guys, till next time. Развлечения
I bought a Vetran Sherman three months ago. My first wheel. So much fun! A little practice and now 40 mph .
I got the Sherman V2 as my first wheel against all recommendations and watching this video. About a year ago. The learning curve wasn’t bad. It came on a Sunday I was going off road on day two and in the NYC streets by Friday and I’m not really the recklessness type. I will say I TOTALLY get why it’s not recommended I wouldn’t really recommend it either, but I needed to future proof. That comes at a cost tho. Can’t say I regret it.
My man trying be the first EUC rider to get a speeding ticket in a 25mph zone
The Sherm could do that in a 40 zone
@@arcrides6841 All of downtown Boston where the video is taking place is a 25mph zone (except near the Pawtucket river where it's 45)so yea it's possible on both counts.
Nice Review man
That new rider is a king
Look how nice the roads are there. Smooth and even got lines painted on it. Wow the dream for the euc
Great vid as usual, and tight of you to show the gentleman the ins and outs of his first Wheel man.
The most useful review. Especially the pedal angle adjustment from the on board computer. Now I want one!
Wow everything you said about the sherman is spot on. Thanks for the history of the name because now it makes sence it does look like a mini tank but my kids say it looks like a jeep. I love riding my Sherman at 40mph and I don't have to worry about beeps.
Yup exactly, no worries about beeps at all
It's my first wheel and I love it and recommend it. To much fun!
Sweet review u-stride,you stay safe man, we need you.👍
Haha will do. Thanks man
Great work Teech!
You 1 armed it up the stairs you Beast!
Thank you for the comprehensive Sherman reviews. Can’t wait for the Gotway Monster Pro and EX wrap up.
Same. Thanks man
Excellent review. Really enjoyed watching that 👌👏
You’ve made me want it even more. Now I’m definitely going to have to get it for my first wheel 😁
Hahahaha
Thanks for the info in this new wheel, I like your insight! I'm hoping to do a few more review videos for my channel. Cheers!
Great intro and video bro loved it it really enjoyed the music build up and realizing stairs and heavy wheels suck but still that's the will to get to ride to own all roads lead to Sherman
Love your videos. Keep up the great work.
Brave guy on the new Sherman, I’m following suit soon 😬
Excellent review!!!
I was waiting for the price to drop and just saw that it actually went up! 😢
Awesome review bro and I appreciate the shoutout 🙏🏼😎
Most def. Great video you made. Hopefully it helps out some riders
Great Vid! You reallty show your skill in this ep.
I've always thought that thing sounds like Darth Vaders ship in star wars, you've captured that sound perfectly. Great review man, keep up the good work 🔥
Haha thanks man
Your trainee is my family member ooooo 🇬🇧 🇳🇬 🙌🏼😆

I can't wait for mine to come in whenever it does!
Same
Seeing this again ... this is truly an excellent video.
Thanks man
I think the next iteration of the VS is going to be perfect. I’m going to hold out for them to make it waterproof though.
👍🏼Great Video, Informative I learn something new from you all the time.
You know I actually got in contact with Daniel Abdel the gentalmen in that video clip conscerning the spinners he directed me to Wattrides....I sent an email to them conserning the product and my want to purcjase 2 sets of both Rams (in front) and Spinners (for the Rear) I have not heard from either party since.....Not in my Inbox, my Spam or my Trash Bin,I did notice an increase in European junk mail since.🤷🏻♂️- What happened? I dont know but I never heard back from them other then Daniel givinging me a price breakdown in Euros but that was it....Neither Daniel or Wattrides (in Paris) ever responded to the purchase request. I thought you should know that so that you readers don't get caught up in a possable fraud.
My first wheel but I've ridden one before and other EUCs and have 10,200 miles on my Onewheel XR
great video and review
Great review bro. I really can’t wait for Veteran to make the Sherman 2 as well. They listen to us riders so I’m sure they will try their best to fix the things that we note as shortcomings
Very true thanks man
ThaBlackcobra they need to fix nothing imo just put a 3000/3500w motor on v2 and you got me to buy it 😉
Ottawa Wheeler euc The pedals are way too low making it harder and more scary to make sharp turns or go over things without worrying about clipping them. The pedal dipping has also been mentioned. Great wheel but not perfect
@@ThaBlackCobra Absolutely way too low. I hit them on the ground like every 30 seconds. It's hard not to. Aside from that though the Sherman is fantastic for leaning into corners due to it's perfect balance. If it had higher pedals it would be phenomenal. You could lean it like a motorcycle.
phone app and setup, kill switch and smart bms, thats all we need from sherman, oh and battery % on the screen :)
Nice review. Great video!
Thanks for the reference in your video. I wrote the article you quoted. I’m thinking the Sherman will be my next wheel.
Are you serious that's awesome man. Thanks for writing a great article. I needed a good reference and yours was it. Awesome man
As a 56 year old. I will be padded up when I learn my euc.
Wish I had worn pads on my onewheel first night.
Everyone wishes they had worn pads on their Onewheel day one lol. It gets everyone
Love it. I think I got a hernia watching you pull it up those stairs though
Haha
I like your jacket. Have you done a vid on your safety gear? Your whole setup is pretty cool I have to say but also utilitarian- matches the wheel well.
No I haven't but probably should and thanks man
Your trainee is a cool dude!! Cant wait to see him riding the streets with ya!! A Veteran for his first wheel 🤣
Haha I know INTENSE
Haha yeah what a badass
Franklin Park is the spot. Hope to run into you again soon. Great vid and keep spreading the love
Yeah man. Holy l hope you're enjoying your wheel
That is crazy fast!
Great video!!!
Nice job on the review, man. Got my subb!
Getting a V8F as my first wheel to ride in crowded places. If I can afford it I'll pick up a larger wheel like the Sherman in the future for street runs.
Hi U-Stride, I like the comprehensive review. I think you might have one in your future, LOL.
Lol we shall see. It's a fantastic wheel. Miss it already lol
Nicely done video bro!
Thanks man
I LOVE IT AND I WANT ITTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT , THANKS FOR GREAT REVIEW DUDE
That's awesome man. Thanks. I'm trying to make it happen. Will probably setup a crowd funding campaign to create a production version, this is clearly a concept know what I mean?
Great review brotha. 👌🏽👌🏽
Thanks bro
Awesome 😎 thanks brother 🙏
Nice. I love the interview with the new guy :-)
Yeah he takes a lot of your advice he says.
Of course I ride myself... But my mama says... My mama says "Riding Like This Is All Pure Madness"!..))
Keep the vids coming!
I shattered my elbow in a huge wobble crash last night, so I won't be riding for a while.
I have to live thru u guys for a bit... keep on wheelin'!
Wow I'm truly sorry to hear that man. Get better soon.
Sorry to here that to. Last year I dislocated my shoulder and tore my rotator cuff. It was no fun popping it back in on the side of the road. After surgery I set my euc to 10 mph and did some riding while recovering. Wish you a speedy recovery. Ride safe🙏
I've been watching the wheel reviews for the Sherman & the King Song S18. The tire on the Sherman is perfect. It has more surface area on the street & increases stability. That tire would be perfect on the King Song S18. I can't deal with a 70 lb. wheel. I have a torn rotator cuff on my right shoulder that I am foregoing surgery but still can't pick something this heavy up on a regular basis.
I have been pondering the perishability of the plastic side panels on all wheels & have been thinking about how to redo it in aluminum or make flat rails that wrap around from the rail cage that is already there & also for your U Cage. But, sliders will do the job! Like for a sport bike. They protect the bike & fairings etc. I need them for my Ninja. Were the sliders that guy had homemade? I think they are generally made out of the hard urethane that rolkerblade & skateboard wheels are made of. I don't think the wheel manufacturers are doing their best job by making the wheels with outer shells like toys that cost hundreds of dollars & can be torn to pieces in a simple crash. They need to come up with more durable exoskeleton or roll cages or some type of protection. My Inmotion V5 looks like it will crack apart if it falls over. Not good for a $700+ purchase. I think the King Song S18 is my upgrade wheel once I learn to ride the Inmotion which is a work in progress. 🚧 Be safe. 👍☮️🌞
1/15/21 it's very windy today 32miles per hr winds.and my kingsongs16 doing an AWS job it's blowing hard but I can with stand it,I'm very surprised!!!
Finaly!! Thanks :)
You're welcome
I am a heavier person and have read that I need a high torque / well cooled wheel to accommodate the extra load / heat generated on the wheel for me to go a medium speed. I have been thinking the Veteran Sherman would be a good wheel for me but I also have understood that a heavy wheel like the Sherman is very difficult to learn with for beginners because it is hard to control such weight. Do you have any suggestions? Would the RS be better for me? Looking for mostly street commuting, may run into a little gravel or cobblestones on occasion but not regularly. Washington DC has some hills.
Can you please share the model of knee pad you use? Thanks a lot!
Good vid 👍
Where can I get the roller for crash protection
So what wheel should a new rider buy that he won't outgrow in a year?
Have you done a review of the Sherman Max? If so, sorry if I missed it…. I have a Sherman Max and I’m loving it! What a great wheel for higher speed, street riding. I’d love to see your comparison of the OG Sherman and the Max. Great video. Thanks for sharing! 👊👍
No I haven't yet
@@UStride - I hope you have an opportunity to do a comparison!
Is there a Facebook page where group rides are organized in New England? Massachusetts specifically?
You are the beast of the EUC world
Hahaha, thanks man. I'm sure there are some guys out there who don't create videos, know what I mean? They're probably crazier than we can imagine
U-Stride I say that because ever since I been watching your videos, you just be ripping it.
U-Stride plus I really don’t like a lot of these people, I consider you a Brother so I’m gonna continue to uplift your spirit. We have to always give ours pure blessings

Haha what's up mang
What would u advise for a first timer
Good for people with money and who are able to stand without getting severe knee and back pain.
Great job my love💞
Always learning boo. Thanks love ❤️
What helmet are yo wearing?
Good review, glad to see them kneepads brother. 😂😁
Sure thing man. Thanks
I'm 6'8" and 300 pounds. I have no problem throwing 100 pounds around and lifting it over my head. And I think I have to start on the Sherman bc of the 330 pound weight capacity. I'd like to save some money and start on something else... but I make good money and I feel the Sherman would be much better. I plan on buying one this spring/ summer. I feel like a lot of the gripes with new riders would not apply to me. Also strong legs and bottom heavy almost.
plss tell em how you moun tthat go pro on shemran. I have a sherman coming and I wanna mount mine
Oh I used the sticky mount that came with the go pro. I think you can buy it. There is a flat version and a curved version. I just stuck it on the back flat part where the seat would go
I love the fact that your trainee is not a spring chicken...
Lol
'Whoa! Watt Rides.. what an innovation.. . Great video and music so good , so banging I was jigging with excitment... PS the only thing I dislike about the Vet Sher is the rear light nonense.. should be more motorcycle like... not child toy-like....
I’ve wanted a Onewheel for years now. Ever since it was a kickstarter. Got real serious about one a little under a month ago. Realized just how underperforming they are compared to euc’s and the reasons I actually want a “wheel” for it’s a no brainer now. Not even close anymore. This wheel here seems like the most serious wheel that is out. The frame is a no brainer and couldn’t t believe it hadn’t been thought of yet. The range and speed of this make it a no brainer. I agree with the first wheel thing though. It’s like a guy going out a getting a hyabusa and never riding a motorcycle. Knew a guy who did that and he died 20 mins after leaving the dealership. So. As much as I’d rather just get this wheel I understand working your way up. Now I just have to figure out what wheel to get before I move on to this or the newer version when it gets released.
Awesome man. Good points and I'm very glad you understand. Buy whatever you want but just he realistic. It's like any other motor vehicle. There are many options for you to choose. Choose wisely
The onewheel goes like 14mph max & gets like 14 miles per charge for the same price as an EUC..
I personally wouldn't even consider a one wheel, but im also not a skateboarder so.. I understand the skaters transition to boards to EUC'S
How did that trolley handle feel as far as quality? Is it as strong as the Tesla as far as bending ? My concern is a 77 pound wheel suddenly shifting could break or bend it. It looks fragile in comparison.
It could be stronger I feel but it's definitely sturdy for what it's built for. You can't carry the wheel with this but trolling it around is no big deal
Did you try to ride the stairs up.
Cool!
the should program stare climb mode
What's that padded vest your wearing?
I like the graphical stats. Very useful
It's from leatherup.com the xelement cf-244
My goodness u make it so easy!!! Be careful plz
I need the name of the track your playing this is awesome
what helmet youre wearing?
What about legality? Is it legal to use on the street. Its not here in Canada. We have a 15kmh limit on these type of vehicles.
Do these have regenerative braking? And does it have a usb port for charging?(a cell phone)
Yes but it's insignificant
Donde puedo comprar una asi ese mismo modelo
This is for anybody that already has their sherman. Whenever I turn on my wheel it spins out out of control. I sent it in for repairs after they fixed the wires. It still does this. Am I doing something wrong when I power on the Sherman?
Update: it was my fault trying to pick up the euc and freaking out. Do not pick it up and just lay it on its side to reset and hard stop. If you pick it up, it'll accelerate even more until it powers out.
2nd update: it took me a day to learn how to ride the wheel and balancing on it. I recommend going to the park with a huge open grass field and no dog turds. I had an amazing time learning and felt super sore. The breaking point was one morning when I decided to ride to work giving myself 2 hours for a 16 mile drive into the city. Glad I went at 4am because I fell into the sewer gutter hole a dozen of times and eventually learned how to control the wheel going slow. I haven't figured out how to safely ride fast yet but I'm solely working myself to getting to ride out on the road. The wrist guards are a lifesaver literally. Don't ever ride without safety gear folks!
I'd recommend contacting your distributor as well for answers
@@UStride it was entirely my fault, I shouldn't have picked it up. I should have placed it on its side on the ground. I'm just leaving my post here in case anybody else had this issue. Thanks Ustride
@@vtran1082 but wait a minute, I'd you have the Sherman standing on its wheel and then turn it on, it shouldn't spin out of control! It will spin if you lift it though!
@@UStride it did it the first time but once the wires were corrected it must have been fixed. I must have just had deja vu nightmares about the first time and instinctively picked it up once the wheel moved which caused the wheel to accelerate out of control. Once I placed it on its side and reset the wheel, I noticed the sherman balancing itself out and the controls to accelerate and decelerate worked perfectly. The guys at ewheels are awesome and helped me through this.
@@vtran1082 Strange
Awesome video. But I gotta ask. What's the name of the first instrumental that played in the video? That song got me dancing over here. Lol. 😂
Infected ground by particle house
@@UStride Thanks I appreciate it.
desert city? are you in lockdown?
Friend, hello. Tell me, what was the approximate speed on the highway (road) in this video clip?
I'm not sure which part but if it's the one with the car behind me it was 40-43mph
I dont get why people carry it up steps. My sherman does just fine being pushed up them. Just pull out the handle and push it against the steps. the tire will grip the steps and the autobalance along with your leverage will easily bring it up the steps. Maybe its just the camera angle, but ive pushed mine up steps larger than the ones he carried it up on just fine.
Yeah man after reading your comment I realized that there's a technique to that. If you do it just right you can roll it up real quick and easy. Much easier than carrying it up. But it takes a little practice to make it effortless. The trick is to give it a slight lift and push the moment you are about to hit the edge of each step. But only for that moment. So overall you don't do much work at all. But you need to do that lift/push precisely so that the tyre doesn't do a burnout and simply rolls up the step. It's easy once you get used to it.
If you don't give it enough lift. It does a burnout. That's the key. So make sure to give it just enough of a lift. But no more than you need so you don't do extra work by lifting more than you need to.
Hi, please tell me what the name of your helmet is, thanks.
It's the steelbird SBA 2 on ebay
Hey man, what is the Helmet name?
Next thing you know they'll have Hell's Angels unicycle gangs!
When going up stairs, what if you carried a strap that would span between forward and rear handle, then leave the Sherman turned on, now let the Sherman climb the stair under its own power? Use the strap to keep it upright and guide it. I forgot about the trolley handle on that wheel, unless you're afraid of bending it on the stairs just use it to guide the Sherman up the steps.
Not a bad idea lol.
@@UStride
Would of thought wheel could be rolled up under power. With this good strap idea should be easy to do?
I mean, you cant lift a motorcycle up stairs like that
@@rexyoda haha so true
..it is no rocket science here ..to be able to ride at those high-speed continuously and feel safe the firmware algortihm will not cut out on you!..a big square boxy shell design to accommodate 24S 12P in 4 packs must be the order of the day(240pcs of Sanyo 3500mah cell). Any other competing EUC to meet this high performance must all look the same at least less those steel handlebars to make it a copycat. That high-speed pass sure look terrifying and exciting to pedestrians who watch from the sidewalk! I am sure you would only do it for this final video b4 going off to do the RS coming up next and I look forward to it.
Imma buy it as a first wheel…
Great video, may I know how you can connect EUC World App to the Veteran Sherman?
same as any other wheel. There are no issues with eucw and Sherman sync atm.
toptoptop!!!!!
Couldn't you just let the euc climb the stairs with the bars? Or handle?
Yesterday my Veteran Sherman came to my flat
AWEOME man. Congrats
Oh very good ^^*
