I buy many of my wheels from EWheels. Why? Because of their selection, price, and perhaps most importantly, Jason's dedication to customer satisfaction and his ongoing support of the community. If the website doesn't list what you are looking for, give them a call. Use this link which lets them know that I've referred you: www.ewheels.co...
Thanks Marty . I really like the dynamic of You, Roger and Dawn and some of your crew together in the videos. The minimal editing is great so we can see everything being discussed about the wheels.
Loved this group chat about the new wheels. I'm in a vacuum out here in NM, so this was nice inclusion of serious rider talk. Thanks Marty
It's ridiculous that we're spending so much on these and still have to test it to find out what features it has. This industry has a long ways to go to attract mainstream use.

try buying a 50-80k car and not know every single feature. its pretty common

Commander Pro's spec is amazing. No questions about it. But when sun came up from the east and when sun sets west, the winner is Sherman S no questions about it. But if Commander Pro fares well in the long game after several years later compared to Sherman S. I will snatch that victory trophy from Sherman S and give it to Commander Pro.
But until then, Sherman S wins the absolute trophy in my book.
This video is also FIRE.
No. Even in the video, most people prefer the Commander Pro compared to the Sherman S.
@@BigBoss-gb4cx need to see a full teardown... Can't say before. And personally I don't trust BG suspension
I’d have to agree on that point.. I’m surprised so many are dismissing the Sherman s already
EUCs may come and go but Marty’s pickup has stood the test of time!
Nice, I like hearing this raw talk about the wheels.
Thanks for letting me know all I needed to know about Commander Pro.
Fantastique Marty 🎉keep these video coming
A year ago I've bought a Commander pro. I was doing food deliveries with it. Now it has 10000km +. Never had a cutoff , or any kind of problem. Easy to maintain and realible. Must say great wheel , and for Sherman-s i just don't see any excuses or justification for the price. Sorry to say that but for a 1000e less you get better , safer and faster wheel.
Great insider info about these trash built wheels. Thanks for keeping it real.
Excelent video! I like to see these nice people riding and exchanging opinions about the wheels. Very good info too. Kudos!
Thanks, this gave some nice subtle insights into the wheels everyone is interested in right now.
Glad it was helpful!
Those holes on the Commander Pro, while it seems like unfinished thing it's a great thing for DIY crowd to mount 3D printed accessories!
Breaking tiltback is caused by centrifugal force. By slowing down this force pulls the gyro sensor forward. By Acceleration it pulls (the mercury inside) backwards, so the wheel leans forward. A good software is aware of that issue. You can call it break assistance or bad programming. The Msuper V3s is not doing that at all in hard mode. Maybe... maybe not :) Thanks for the video!
Always the top of the parking garage!
Now I know
'The Grizzlas are so good'
Clark Pads Tony cracks up laughing 😅
That's gold 🏆
Which one is better though?
@@BigBoss-gb4cx The Grizzlas imo
Just got mine two days ago, night and day quality difference with the gotway High torque i had two years ago
Damn video starts like in a movie scene on parking lot top of garage tension and then i thought guns start blazing but then just smiles and giggles and euc's...thank god 🥰🤩
LOL
I'm liking the commander pro! Looking like a real winner, but my vote is on the ex30 haha
This is the video I've been waiting for! Don't know which one I want now. MP, CP, or SS. I already have a Master.

15:44 he just said the Sherman S feels light 😂😂
Can't wait until yall get the begode ex30! 😁
Ok so brake assist and accelerate assist on the V13 are basically when full the wheel will give a pedal dip forward or back and these can be individually setup if you want no pedal movement you need 100% the lower the number the more it will dip 👍
The higher the value (100% is max) the more pedal dip for the brake/accel assist
Marty
for the commander pro they probably dont have battery inside "2032" yes they should lit cover is under EB logo need to unscrew after peeling the EB
I'll check it out - thanks
9:40 I think it's doing that weird tilt bc of poor sensor fusion between accelerometer and gyroscope data. Lately I've been working on self balancing stuff, you have to take the data from 2 sensors and do a bunch of math on them based on their values to get pitch, yaw, roll values. When she brakes hard, the accelerometer data is making the wheel think it's tilted forward (even tho it's level), so it tries tilting back to get to what it thinks level is. When she stops braking, accelerometer data settles and it goes back to true level. Weird stuff
Thanks Marty, great video. When are we going get to see the tear down video ?
I won't tear it down but I'm releasing the unboxing video where I have to put the wheel together. There you'll see more details.
The pinnacle of all Begode rapid prototype EUCs are going into Ex30. I can't wait for yall to review that wheel.
Salve sono interessato ai Pad dello SHERMAN S è possibile avere il link grazie
I already bought the erides pedals n pads for the Sherman S even though I haven’t ordered mine yet. LoL
I’m with Roger, it’s not ideal to adjust tilt angle after you stop… but yes Marty we have seen this wheel behavior, it’s not new lol.
Very interesting comparisons there, and the banter of course :-) The option to go there was a good one. Heavier wheels seem to be in the ascendancy now though I don't think the V13 really does a lot better than my Master 50e if I keep the speed within reason (very easy for me :-) ) These wheels are pitched at those touring, and those touring inevitably are taking fast chargers with them. I think there is a case for building such a charger into the machine. I don't think they consider this because they are buying their chargers in.
Commander Pro seems like a clear winner here:
- better and more stable frame
- better suspension since both sides does rebound and compression (SS only 1 per side)
- 134V
- more torque and power
- much better pedals
- much stable at high speed
- much better trolley handle
- IP rating and water resistance (the Sherman disentangle have one)
- better price
The Sherman S is just a waste of money at this point compared to it.
if the quality of the CP isn't complete garbage then I agree with you. I'm hoping the quality isn't garbage because I want it to be better than the SS
@@ETAonTheEUC It's seems solid to me.
the commander pro has an IP rating?
@@ETAonTheEUC no. It doesn't.. ruclips.net/video/zAjyfUzWamM/видео.html my full commander pro review is here if you want 🙌😉
Love you guys
i love the look of the sherman s so much but the commander don't look as sexy but has a lot of other stuff to make up for it. well it don't matter I love my t4 and i got a lot more practicing to do before I go 50 mph lol. im going to wait a year before i get a new wheel because next year i know begode will bring out 40 other new wheels lol
Great video Marty!! Thanks. I really need your opinion on these two wheels. I've preordered the Sherman-S 3rd batch, but I've also been looking at the Commander Pro. If you just had $4000 ONLY, which of these two wheels would you buy with your last money? Sherman-S or Commander Pro? Who are you gonna trust with that $4000 Marty? Longevity and inside build quality is important.
Probably the Sherman S. The choice between these two wheels is not so cut and dried. I believe that the 134-volt Commander Pro will offer compelling performance advancements but there's no doubt that the build quality of the Sherman S is better (looks better too). Longevity is a tough one. The jury is out on both wheels. I would say it's an unknown. The Commander Pro may (haven't confirmed yet) have slightly more range since they allow the voltage to go lower.
I thought that the Commander Pro was cheaper than the Sherman S, if that makes a difference.
@ElectricUnicycles Thanks Marty. Really appreciate what you offer to the euc community. Have you done a range test on the Sherman-S yet? If so, what's the results? I think I'm going to follow my first mind and stick with the Sherman-S. But I will definitely be watching for your Commander Pro tear down and Sherman-S comparison. Thanks again.
Great vid

Sherman S looks so much better. Built quality is much better also for sure :D
No.
They even point out the design flaw of the Sherman S, that the two suspension does two different thing
Wile the Commander Pro does both on both side which is much more stable and better for the wheel.
@@BigBoss-gb4cx Ktm and a number of motorcycles and bikes even use comp on one side and rebound on the other in many models, but you know better, the commander is a piece of garbage and that's not even disputable
Will u have a detailed comperation review between the two? (or 4 including the EX30/ V13)
Probably not more detailed since I don't have a Sherman S for review
@@ElectricUnicycles :(
Does the Rim on the Commander Pro seem pretty robust Marty?
Yes. Seems to be the same motor/rim that you'll find on the Master, as an example.
@@ElectricUnicycles thank you sir!!
👌
Whoa josh Morgan from momentum productions rides euc?!
Yes, Josh is part of our Southern California riding community :-)
dommage, j'aurai bien aimé voir la hauteur des trolley !
I can’t believe we get all of this for free
I worry about the height of the trolley handle as it looks short when standing next to it. I also worry about the quality of the Commander Pro. If the quality isn't garbage then this stands a serious contender to the SS and I am having a hard decision which one I want.
Well I can certainly tell you that the Commander Pro quality is not "garbage". That's a rather low standard LOL
I think quality is overrated. I've owned 31 wheels and have tested over 40 wheels. Only a few failures while riding and in those situations I was stressing the wheel. The poorer quality Begode wheels have worked just fine for where it counts - riding them.
@@ElectricUnicycles First of all I love all of your videos and information you put out there for EUC's. I just feel the need to call out the fact you think quality is overrated. I know for you and some of us that are seasoned riders, quality may be a little overrated and we rather get wheels in our hands faster. but for newer riders some of the quality on these wheels is really unacceptable. Even for seasoned riders, paying 3-4k for something that you need to then purchase another 3-400 dollars of 3rd party parts for is pretty bad. Not sure why we as the consumers should settle for that. All of that being said.. the commander does not look to be of garbage quality. It looks pretty good from the initial overview of the wheel! Cant wait to see a teardown.
@@jamesChisena I agree with you. I'm being a "little" silly with my quality statement but I think it's important to mention how reliable our wheels are (when not abused) even considering the poor build quality of some of them.
I enjoy owning new wheels and I fear that if all of them are produced at the V13 quality level then we'll be paying $5k for new wheels.
The quality has been steadily increasing over the years so there's hope for the future.
Thanks for the comment.
@@ElectricUnicycles yes, what i mean by "garbage" is basically meaning just as long as there isn't anything catastrophic about this wheel that is a deal-breaker concerning quality, then I'm on-board with it. There could always be unforeseen issues with major components that we likely will not know until it is further tested in time, etc., but this is the same for all wheels.
Overall, this or the SS is the wheel I am going to choose. I really want the CP to not have any major "hiccups" because currently I want this wheel the most. I am paying very close attention to this wheel and am excited :)

16:32I heard "Commander S" . . . Im confused now
Probably misspoke - Sherman S
I really have to agree heavily with Roger.
When you need to accelerate hard right after braking, that tilt back on brake really sucks.
Worse is if you turn around 180 after braking hard, it tips you forward.
nice wheels
The Commander pro has some important advantages. Price is cheaper. Suspension seems more rugged. Also 134 volt. I think its a no Brainerd! Commander Pro wins 🏆!
let's see how the overall quality is and if it'll explode or not first, then i'll agree with you
@@ETAonTheEUC lmao true since they're like Begode under the guise of a different name
I herd it’s the exact same as Sherman s infact leaperkin is suing them for copying I believe
I want one sooo baaad 😭
Og commander doesn’t have break assist
so you will have to work harder to break it? Can't you just drive it into a wall or off a cliff? That should break it real good!
It does! ruclips.net/video/zAjyfUzWamM/видео.html my full commander pro review is here if you want 🙌😉
..so many toys..
Let’s say u live in Mexico where no EUC distributor is available for repairs, meaning.. if something breaks you are fcked. SS or Commander Pro ?
Honestly, I don't think it matters. There have been plenty of Sherman's which have had problems. In your case it's more important to be willing to work on the wheel yourself. If treated properly, the vast majority of EUC's do not fail. They can be maintained with a few hand tools and access you RUclips. If this is your first EUC, it's hard to go wrong with buying the Sherman S. The Commander Pro would appeal more to the advanced rider that needs the power that comes from the 134-volt system.
Appreciate this but I like your more structured reviews more. Didn't learn very much here.
