Hey, Eva is a keeper. Any gal that can drop it at the end of the water crossing, fall in the water and laugh, gets my vote as a biker partner. Love your vids.
The obvious sign that l am enjoying watching this, is the smile that is constantly popping up on my face 🙂 I am so envious, in a good way though, that you are able to enjoy this sport with your partner 🙂
Stuart, Eva’s a keeper! That gal is cool as hell! I don’t know too many gals who would crash their bike then take a swan dive in a water crossing and laugh about it. I need to find a gal like that for sure.
Yep, a cute couple. Sterling (who’s Stuart??) has an eye for quality and beauty, Eva has an irrepressible spirit. They both share a deep lust for adventure. I reckon they work really well together, at least as far as one can tell from watching RUclips lol.
Really great to see you guys back out adventuring again. It’s almost like having a trip by proxy. I’m in Ireland but you have inspired me to plan a motorcycle trip in the south western US including plenty of off road back country. Keep up the great work.
Oh right on!!!! Baja is on my to ride list!! Can’t wait to view this next series of movie documentation!! I’ll have my note pad ready!! Many thanx and safe travels!! -Pod- 🏍🤙🍻
OMG I've been in withdrawal since your last vid; thank you for being here! I may have said this before...you're awesome on your own but Eva adds a special sauce; a yin to your yang! I love tagging along. Thanks so much.
Thank you for detailing the meal preparations. Of course the riding and crashes and video are also wonderful. I’m planning a trip and camp meals will be a big part of the fun.
Het Sterling, good to see you out and about again, your videos are always a joy to watch. And now, I will mount my soapbox: I love the trip, but man I can't help but think it would have been SO much better on smaller, lighter bikes. OK the 701 (still too big for desert work IMHO) is fine I guess but man, life sure gets easier with a nice tidy little CRF300L or something. My wife and I did that whole "ad-VEN-ture" bike thing years ago, and it's just ridiculous as soon as you hit the first loose rocky hill. We have DRASTICALLY downsized, and riding sketchy areas is now fun, rather than "holy shit, we will never get through this".
Eva! that was a nasty fall, in the sand and the one in the stream, i went oh no!!, but wow, you dusted yourself off and continued on,I love that. You and Sterling are showing the bits of cooking and what you can do out there, and sites off the bike. That really makes a full adventure as far as i'm concerned. Enjoyable to watch.
It is great see this new series coming out. My wife and I stayed at your hotel for couple nights in Feb right after you got back from Baja. Sterling was a great host. We spent some time at the hotel talking about bikes, trips, cameras, and editing. Thanks for all that the two of you do to present the cycles, camping, and back country travel in a positive manner.
Love how you show us not only the riding and camping, but also the cooking. Real inspiration for my upcoming motocamping-trip with my daughter this summer.
For now ! Not sure how often she drops that bike but I would suggest she’s rides the lighter husky , maybe slow before the deep water and get into first beforehand.
Great to see you posting again! Sorry I missed seeing you about a week and a half ago in Bisbee, but fortunately for me, I was able to talk to Eva. She is a delight. Hope to have better luck catching you next time I'm down in your area, and really looking forward to the Wyoming BDR postings coming up. Excellent work as usual.
Great to see you guys out and about once again. They recommend you do not blow directly into your air mattress as that traps moisture inside which will cause mould and damage to the mattress fill over time resulting in premature failure and reduced thermal insulation qualities.
I'm not a religious man, but bless RUclips's random acts of visualisation. This video popped onto my screen straight outta nowhere. As a seasoned (some would say rotten) "sleeper on the side of the road" since I was 18, I'm now 60, I never ever thought I would see someone with the same penchant for wilderness cooking, camping and general motorcycle-based frivolity such that you guys enjoy...let alone smack dab in the middle of a place that has been tugging at my heartstrings for many years now. I currently own a 1990 Yamaha XT600 trailie that I'm rebuilding and 2004 Harley Street Bob (registration plate reads... NVAHO...). My dream is to ride my beautiful Harley all over the US but the importation issues from Oarstraylya would be too onerous methinks. Anyways...I just wanted to say, thanks so much for sharing, I shall book some time at the Jonquil at my earliest convenience and would p'raps like to pick Sterling's brain on how/what/when to see your majestic deserts and mountains. Greetings and salutations from Downunder...mate.
Fantastic adventures and some of the rides and camping is very similar to here in Australia ...really enjoying the stories and the history of where you venture
Great vid as always, was great to Meet You and Eva at the Hotel even in that freak cold and hail. Look forward to getting back down to ride more. Safe Travels.
Thanks so much for your videos. Especially this one. Your video brought back many great memories of the many times my father and I along with a group our friends rode our dirt bikes all over the Anza Borrego area back in the late 60's and early 70's. Boondock camping out in that desert was majic.
I have always liked your videos Sterling but having Eva along has brought them to a new level. It was great before but with the two of you it's even greater. ::
First time here, glad I found the channel, I once met Eva at Overland West, what a wonderful human being that exudes life. I hope to see her again. Love this video and will backtrack on the rest. I have had several motorcycle and still enjoying it. So wonderful that two of you can enjoy this 👍👍
Great filming....you need to teach a class to us novices....it was great to meet you both at WYBDR event a couple months ago.....thanks for sharing...!!!!
Anza Borrego is one of my dreams, I cannot wait to explore down there on a bike. Taking it a step at a time though and I have a lot of learning and progressing to do before I venture south. Can't wait to see more of this journey, as usual well done and a beautiful adventure!
Sterling and Eva, I really enjoy this video. You two look like ya have a lot of fun together, and it makes me yearn to get on the road again. Seriously need to trade up from my 2013 Yamaha FJR to an adventure bike. I gotta find a lady friend/biker that'll go with me, to share cold saki and a great sunset. Thanks guys.... BIG SMILES and wishin ya all the luck and good Karma you can get.
Hey guys! I bought that very same tent last season. I've been quite happy with it. Like you said, super easy to set up. You two always make the tastiest looking camp meals. 😀
Hello Eva and Sterling, I/we (all your followers) missed you all this time. This part of South Cali is absolutely beautiful. I rode around this part for over 20 years! Eva is such an amazing cook but I was a bit disappointed not to see one of her famous cocktails! Sake is a pretty good basic alcohol to use as a mix 😃! Anyway, great to have you back and I cannot wait to see your Baja experience! Ciao di Roma to both!
Hello from Oklahoma! The more I watch you guys the more I want to buy an adventure bike. I think I’d really enjoy that kind of riding. Currently I ride a 2020 Harley Road Glide Limited. Adventure riding and camping off the bike is in my future.
oh so fun you're back. You are a great inspiration and of all those who film motorcycle camping, you are the absolute best. You play in your own division. Without your travels, I would never have dared to plan a long journey through Sweden and northern Norway on gravel roads. This summer it will be off and I will find everything I can learn in your films😊 Åsa

Eva is the best! Never gives up always has a great attitude. Excellent example for all riders
You're a good film maker. And the second of your single cylinder engine is so good. Singles are the best.
Hey, Eva is a keeper. Any gal that can drop it at the end of the water crossing, fall in the water and laugh, gets my vote as a biker partner. Love your vids.
I always enjoy your videos Stirling, but I particularly like the ones that showcase your adventurous life with Eva.
Thank you so much for sharing.
The obvious sign that l am enjoying watching this, is the smile that is constantly popping up on my face 🙂 I am so envious, in a good way though, that you are able to enjoy this sport with your partner 🙂
I would rather watch Sterling's videos than most movies I have seen. Sterling, make them longer, lol. Thanks for all you do.
Finally. Hell ya. Looking forward to next vids!!
love when you share Eva with the rest of us! She is such a sport....
Thanks Michael!
Stuart, Eva’s a keeper! That gal is cool as hell! I don’t know too many gals who would crash their bike then take a swan dive in a water crossing and laugh about it. I need to find a gal like that for sure.
🤩 thanks so much!
Yeah for sure, what a trooper !
Yeah Stuart and Eve!

You mean Sterling?
I’ve always enjoyed you & Eva riding together… somehow the adventure is more memorable when shared. Thanks for bringing us along!
Really great to see you guys back out adventuring again. It’s almost like having a trip by proxy. I’m in Ireland but you have inspired me to plan a motorcycle trip in the south western US including plenty of off road back country. Keep up the great work.

Thanks so much Damon! Appreciate that and thanks for joining the fun!
Nice to see the little overview and warmup. Anza is only 2 hours from me, thanks for kicking me in the butt ha. Ride on!
So happy to see you back on the channel. No matter what else is in the queue, I always watch you two first. Can’t wait for the next episode.
Thanks so much!
Best Motorcycle Story Teller/Videographer on RUclips. Thanks for another great video
Thank you great videos, Borrego Springs /Anza Borrego is a beautiful place I was there for 3 weeks enjoy
Thank you for detailing the meal preparations. Of course the riding and crashes and video are also wonderful. I’m planning a trip and camp meals will be a big part of the fun.

Thanks for stopping by The Jonquil Motel! Looking forward to seeing you out here again someday!
Great to see you guys out and about once again. They recommend you do not blow directly into your air mattress as that traps moisture inside which will cause mould and damage to the mattress fill over time resulting in premature failure and reduced thermal insulation qualities.
I have thirty year old thermarest I blow into. Still works fine.
Two beautiful people!
awesome experience, thank you for sharing with us!
