    Career counselling needs to be embedded in the education system. It’s not something that a student may get by chance, but essentially be available to each student. Hope India reaches there one day.

    Career talks and informed decision (POMPOMs Peace of Mind and money will follow) , these are very very important in ones life. Kudos sir for a very engaging talk. Psychology majors should do it in every opportunity that arises or push for it. 1st Knowing Thyself is a journey time very well spent invested

    When you follow the peace of mind by choice then the money will follow .
    Follow the choice not the chance 🙌

    A brilliant explanation of how career choice is so important and such a personal and subjective choice at that.

    And then you take great informed decisions for your career focusing on talents, strengths and personality, work really hard to become qualified, landing A grades in almost all of your courses, build a stunning portfolio that lands you a rewarding job in prestigious companies, build up a lot of amazing work experience working on exciting and inspiring projects, and then you're hit by workplace bullying and mobbing and it's game over.

    I think the biggest lack in Indian education system is that there is no scoping in for career-counselling. A child becomes a professional before he/she realises -- "hey maybe I am in the wrong place".

    • @gj1shankar
      @gj1shankar Год назад

      How do you call them professionals,without ascertaining whether the profession is relevant for them or not?
      Perhaps this gives rise to mediocrity and causes average performance.
      This needs to be corrected fast to gain from the Young India.

    Hello,
    Plz help me in choosing career path.
    After doing BTech in ECE.
    Should I search job in IT Networking or in Digital Marketing as I have done online certification in that also.
    Both these fields are completely opposite. One it technically field, while other is management field.

    • @janmeetei9532
      @janmeetei9532 2 года назад

      Are you enjoying more doing digital marketing or IT works? Do you enjoy doing creative works or not? Are you challenged by meeting new people and not afraid to get out of your comfort zone? These few qs can help you to take a step back and decide.
      Starting a digital marketing career takes time. You need few projects to showcase in your portfolio, may be start with a project from a small business firm in your locality and eventually get into bigger companies.
      There are few profile that may overlap with your degree like web design, digital or web analytics that you can pursue.
      If you really want to move into Digital marketing,
      -Get PG or MBA that focus on digital marketing
      If not, ready for some roller coaster ride, there will be days u will really get demotivated because very few people or companies wants to hire people with zero knowledge or experiences. A graduate with certification may fetch you a starting CTC of 3-3.5L PA and you can grow with time.
