    What a gorgeous puzzle! It's fun to see new brands! I agree, the more the merrier for the different puzzle video creators! The videos often come out at different time, so there is always content to watch! Thank for taking the time to answering the questions that were submitted! Yeah, you answered mine first in this video 😊. I love puzzling in the evening, when my kiddo is all set for bed and then it's mommy time 😊.

    I did my first Enjoy puzzle recently, and I did ENJOY it sooo much! It's a colour gradient one, and everything was perfect, from the image to the puzzle piece and prong shape variety. False fits won't happen! I had no stuck together pieces in mine. I will most definitely buy more Enjoy puzzles in the future, as they're also easy to get in Germany and fairly priced. 100% recommended!

I buy mine on puzzles Canada because I’m in Canada. I love all 3 of these brands. Hope you get to buy more. I don’t remember seeing the one that Janette bought but it’s beautiful too. Happy puzzling!❤

    I just bought this puzzle from Puzzles Canada and they were quite reasonably priced there and I also bought enough to get free shipping to the US. Amazon has many of them also, but they are more expensive on their site. I loved your review, as I haven't opened mine yet, but I did buy 3 Enjoy puzzles, a Magnolia and a Cobble Hill puzzle that I haven't been able to get in the US yet. I love the puzzles that Enjoy have out, they are very unique in style and color. Just looking through the choices, there are many I'd love to work. Currently I'm in Christmas puzzle mode and I have many I want to finish before it gets here, but I might have to sneak this one in along the way, as you have made me want to get it out now, feel the pieces and put it together. Another puzzle company that I love the feel of the puzzles is Art and Fable with their velvet touch. They are another nice puzzle company, if you ever get a change to get one of their puzzles, you will want to run your hands over the puzzle multiple times. Thank you for the great video on this puzzle and I loved the puzzle along series you started. I tried to post a review as I put mine together after I watched the first video and loved it. But my comment got lost when I tried to post it.

I will try to get one though to do on the channel. Did you try to post like a comment on one of my videos? Or did you try to post your own video? Not sure how or why it got lost...??

  • @JessCatlessi
    @JessCatlessi Год назад +4

    I am obsessed with the Enjoy puzzle images that you and Janette picked up. I want yours in a Pintoo version because it will look so nice on the wall. I want Janette's as a poster because I know my abilities and with that image, my ability is limited to buying and hanging the poster 😆😆 I LOVE LOVE LOVE that the puzzles come in a resealable bag. Way better than putting it in a throw away bag and including an empty resealable bag in the box 🤦‍♀🤦‍♀ I only wish they weren't so pricey for me. More than I spend on Ravensburger/Eeboo/Pintoo and other high quality brands so I think I will have to make myself wait until I do some more of my existing collection. Somehow this year I have grown my puzzle collection from 3 to over 50! 🤯🤯
    The cut is disappointing. I feel we should all puzzle however we want to. For me, I personally feel like I am cheating myself if I don't separate all the pieces. Each puzzle is a test of my ability (in my mind at least) so it doesn't feel like it counts as much if I don't start with 1000 separate pieces (or however many pieces the specific puzzle should have). Those pieces you had that weren't cut through at all would be the bane of my existance. I would be getting my exacto knife out and be separating them even if it did cause damage. That isn't to say I think others are cheating if they don't separate the pieces. This is just an issue I have with my own puzzling.
    The fit more than makes up for the cut IMO. I love when the pieces are a snug fit (hello Pintoo) so seeing how well the puzzle stays together makes me so happy. And the unique puzzle shape is great. I don't care for the super shapes like you find with Bits and Pieces but I love a unique ribbon cut like Enjoy has. I think that will make Janette's puzzle easier to do. She won't have to wonder about .
    I'm so glad you picked up this puzzle and that you enjoyed it. I'm sure I will enjoy it too. (Because even though I should wait to buy more, I'm probably not going to wait too long. Those are such pretty puzzles!

    • @fortheloveofpuzzles
      @fortheloveofpuzzles  Год назад +3

      YES YES YES!! Pintoo puzzles with these images on them - I agree!!! Janette's one does look lovely but oh boy, I think it'll be quite tricky to do. I do hope the variety of piece cuts and prong shapes makes it easier for her. I can't remember how much we paid for these puzzles in Euros at the store. I wonder if Janette remembers...? I understand how some people must separate all the pieces - Alison even when speed puzzling wants to separate the pieces if she find two joined together. It's taken me forever to convince her not to do that and that it's okay! And yes, the fit is super tight! I might just separate it into sections and put back in the box. Us puzzlers all have the same problems - want more puzzles, need money for puzzles, need room to store more puzzles, still need to finish the puzzles we have! HAHAHA But it's all great fun!

    That is a beautiful puzzle. I would love to get a copy of an “enjoy” puzzle. They are not sold in the USA and when you find them on Amazon, they are expensive because they are sold by third party sellers and the shipping is so costly. I think Jubie said once they felt “velvety”, reason why I get what you said about chow wonderful they feel to the touch. Another brand we don’t get here is “Magnolia” puzzles.

    Cool puzzle, interesting video! 😎
    I usually separate non-cut-through pieces with a needle, perforating the intended cut line. I would prefer to use a scalpel if I had one readily available... 🙂
    Keeping the puzzle pieces together for one solve is fine but since I often rebuild my puzzles I would sooner or later rip the pieces (especially when breaking the puzzle apart and putting the pieces back into the box)...

    • @fortheloveofpuzzles
      @fortheloveofpuzzles  Год назад +1

      You should try to buy yourself a craft knife - I do have them but didn't bother separating the pieces as you saw. But that might work better than using a needle to poke through the piece. I separated the puzzle into chunks and placed it back in the box so I can easily pull it back out if I wanted. Are you excited for Worlds next year? Did you see the schedule and the changes?

    Smooth but not glossy is a very interesting combination. Would love to see that in real life cause from the camera alone it's not that visible. I'm mostly used to Ravensburger, which does have some sort of texture to it (which I don't mind at all) so I don't know what a smooth puzzle would have to feel like. Do you know a surface of another kind of object to which you could compare the puzzle surface?

    What a lovely puzzle! The colors are great. I've not done an Enjoy puzzle, but I feel like something must have happened when your copy was being cut b/c that's pretty unusual to have that many uncut pieces and so much of the piece being uncut.
