Actually, I'm quite sure Taeyang is the most fluent English-speaking idol that has no boarding experiences outside Korea. He took English lessons though. You can just type 'Taeyang English' to have a feel of how good he is. :)

Tablo's words are so strong here. If you see, every raps of Tablo are really different than any other lyrics. Its the exact representation of heartache. Even in this mv, his expression and his way of rapping, showing his hate for the one who broke is heart is legit amazing. This is the reality. No sugar coating or anything.

Considering that not only did he grow up in Canada (is still Canadian citizen) and major in English at Stanford, but also did accelerated dual degree, won many honours and writing awards, and had been one of the top students in English writing at a top American university (his book of short stories has quite a few of his award winning writings from his Stanford days), he has better English than most native born Americans put together. No offence to the people who are genuinely surprised and mean no harm, but it really bothers me when people whose English is probably half as good as his go: "Wow, I'm so impressed! He speaks real American English!" As if he isn't supposed to be able to do that just because he is Korean.

The original by Taeyang was already perfection, but this English hip hop cover by the fabulous Tablo took my breath away as I realized just how emotional this song truly is. Taeyang's vocals toward the end were very refreshing and I wholeheartedly thank YG Family for all of the magnificent covers they're releasing. YG really makes you feel like their artists are family. ♥

Shit. Scholars could analyze Epik High's lyrics and get a million things out of them, it's kind of sad most of his songs are in Korean, and I wouldn't really be able to show them to a lot of my teachers and friends in NA.

Tuan-Lac Do The meaning of that line basically means that he is missing his old girlfriend so much, it's like time is broken, and he is forever thinking about her, even when he wants to move on and forget her. "They say that time flies..." meaning once she is gone, you can forget her easily. "...but you keep breaking it's wings." meaning, since he can't keep his mind off her, he can never forget her.

I've only recently became a Tablo fan due to his and Haru's appearances on "Superman is Back", so his English in this video really surprised me. Needless to say though, I can see why he's called the poet (: His lyrics really hit home for me. I guess that is expected of someone who studied at Stanford, haha. I'm looking forward to exploring more of his music now that this song has me sold on him and Epik High.

Taeyang's voice in Eyes, Nose, Lips has this damning ability of making me cry. I was teary-eyed when I watched the MV when it came out and shit I cried again when I heard his voice at the end.

I can't help but love and appreciate Tablo's work. Such an amazing artist. The lyrics are so deep that it seriously makes my eyes well. I don't know what it feels like to fall out of love, but this changes that.
