I've a confession to make - I remember watching Little Rosey on Saturday mornings, only because I'd always watch Bugs Bunny & Tweety before that and the other networks had nothing good in the 11:00 hour. That in itself is more scary than remembering animated NKOTB was also a thing in 1990. I also wanted those Sound FX bands but that's another story.
It was greenlit for a second season after the initial 13 episodes, but ABC execs demanded certain changes be made, and Barr walked away angry. Then in a very weird move, a Little Rosey special aired on ABC's TGIF block in 1992 where the plot involves the two characters invading cartoon land to take on the meddling executives who wanted to "change their show". ruclips.net/video/yMdl_MwaxS0/видео.html
3:58 -Poor Joe looks very uncomfortable in this "interview". Like he was on his way to the bathroom, until someone stuck a camera in his face, and told him to talk about reading and education.
I remember as a kid, seeing the intro of the "New Kids On The Block" animated show, I wondered, "How was this ever a thing?!" I was so naive back then. LOL
I had a Tasty Bake Oven, so that commercial always brings back pleasant memories. The only thing I didn't like about it was that it required a certain type of light bulb; I remember my grandmother driving across half the city to find the damn thing.
Count Chocula/FrankenBerry-look its Wednesday Addams New Kids On The Block intro-Joe would later go on to play a h.s teacher on the Fox show Boston Public Tasty Bake Oven-the mini pizzas i tried to make with this never came out right.. Little Rosey-ABC shouldve cut ties w/ Roseanne for this long before they did Mcdonalds Chicken McNuggets-too bad they didnt start any rap beef with KFC
Ok....I just have one or two comments about how 90's [in America] are summed up on the NKOTB cartoon (80's colorful effects or 90's?) but I was filled with excitement. And the baby doll toys - the Hush Baby looks so scary especially if the eyes move around *gasp* Baby Alive is also on the Philippine toy market (especially Toys R Us)

I never missed one episode of the NKOTB television show! I loved them PERIOD! LOL
I love the John Cleese narration of the 2nd ad.
0:21 I died laughing at this the first time I paused it at this exact spot
Daylight savings reminder back then. 🗓
29 yrs later this weekend, it's also time to change the clocks 1 hour back.
Perfect timing 🕒

Makes me wish I was a kid again.
Seems pretty strange that Roseanne Barr had her own cartoon at one point. Didn't seem like it would be her thing. Must've been a short lived show.

That chicken nugget commercial was painful 😭😭😭
As a kid, it was cool. As an adult, not so much.
*claps for your description of the McNugget ad*
You have half the main cast to the 90's movie Now & Then in this one vid! Also, those lego kits are bad ass, I want the space shuttle one.

That Spot video game is apparently worth quite a bit of money now. Good old Count Chocula and Frankenberry. Shame they're just holiday cereals now.
Spot The Video game can be bought used/loose for about $8. It's not particularly valuable.
