  • Do high notes freak you out? In this video I talk about why high notes can be anxiety inducing, and offer encouragement for alleviating the root causes of that anxiety rather than muscling through it.

I am a coloratura Alto, but I was taken for a dramatic or full lyrical Soprano. So I sang in the uneasy texture many years. I complained and only with a foneetogram I could proof the reason of my vocal problems. I am still struggling to fix my voice, it is not a joke singing, one must know the instrument.

I purchased your book about athletic Vocal Training and I'm only 10 pages in
Having been more acquainted with you here on YT years and years ago, and now reading your work, I read it with your voice in mind and it's so helpful
But beyond that - I just want to say THANK YOU for your craft and taking it seriously to grow yourself and lend yourself to the growth of others
I will benefit from the book IMMEASURABLY. So thank you! And please ..... Keep going ❤️👏

Thank you so much! It means so much to me to hear from people who find my content useful, and I hope you really enjoy the book. I appreciate your taking the time to comment, because I still often feel like the lone voice crying the wilderness where a lot of this stuff is concerned 🙏 and it helps me to keep going!!

I used to be a mezzo-soprano, mostly because of my color of my voice, but also because of my fear for high notes. Now that I'm a soprano I got better with this fear of high notes, but there are still times when the fear kicks in and couldn't understand why. After listening to your video, it made so much sense to me. Now I know how to address this issue. Thank you Claudia!
