Singers tend to underutilize our lips because jaw and tongue movements are usually sufficient for intelligible speech. However, when we sing, well-coordinated lips are essential for resonance and vowel definition.

This is really really helpful, and I have made notes to include in my "music" notebook. THANK YOU CLAUDIA.

Hey, Claudia. Thanks for another excellent video. I noticed the "tools and materials" section in the description doesn't have any content. I was curious about the vibrators you're using for this particular exercise. They seem to have a convenient shape for working around the face and jaw. Could you point me toward more information?

They aren't cheap, but I'd rather shell out for an effective massager then pay a voice teacher to tell me to relax my jaw over and over again!

This isn't related to the video, but a few weeks ago, I hurt my voice pretty badly while trying out a new singing technique. It's better now, but it doesn't always sound as smooth as it used to. Any tips?
