I saw one trailer, and it wasn't even the whole thing and I was so sad that they spoiled it by showing that she was a vampire. I did not know it was going to be the this funny and so campy. I did not get to see it in theaters but I bought it as soon as I could and I was dying laughing. I told my dad and I had him watch It. I happened to walk into the living room around the time he found out she was a vampire and his reaction was so hilarious. My mom wanted to see him find out, but unfortunately she didn't get to see that but walk in on the onions part and that was fucking hilarious.
I agree about wishing they hadn't spoiled her being a vampire. I felt like it took away some of the tension from the first act because you pretty much knew it was a trap. & watching people react who don't have the vampire context is so satisfying!
I heard this movie is supposed to take place in the same universe with Ready or Not apparently there is a portrait of one of the family members from the Le Domas family hanging up in the mansion.
This movie was crazy, I really enjoyed it. I loved the ballerina scenes to0 the juxtaposition of her dancing to that beautiful music and swing a corpse around. It made the music seem more sinister too.

Fun fact: this movie was filmed before Angus passed away and they had already finished all of his scenes so they didn’t need to do any AI, or any kind of adjustments to add his character more into the movie after his death, because he had already finished.
This goes to show that even Abigail has her own flaws as the main protagonist/villain in this movie. She's been constantly harassed and abused to the point where she's scratching out everyone's eyeballs out of their eyesockets without any form of guilt and remorse. She will always be known to be the type of vampire who will creep up on you in the middle of the night while there's somebody else on top of you or under you while you're fast asleep.
